I talk back to the voices in my head

We have to let go of it and not give it so much power. It's okay to just be okay, and to know that it's okay that you might have depression or you might go through depressive periods. I want people to be feel like they're not alone. I don't feel so alone at home.

In addition, you did not say how old your mother is but you did indicate that she developed schizophrenia only three years ago. It seems that she developed it much later in life than the norm. I would encourage you to report your concerns to your therapist and to increase the frequency of your therapy sessions. It might help to reduce your fears and help you to overcome these problems. However, it is possible that when you are under enough stress the voice becomes a hallucination. In other words, you respond with depression and suicidal thoughts after having an argument with your step mom and your dad. I agree that you need to get help as soon as possible. My guess would be that you have also suffered abuse while you were growing up.

An unstable home with a grandmother who suffers from Schizophrenia, a mother with a Borderline Personality Disorder and a divorce and having to adjust to a step mom, all lends itself to the kind of environment where a child would have a very difficult time.
