These wolves are much tougher than dogs, but like the hounds, will attempt to confuse you by moving in circles and waiting for the best time to strike. Once the wolves are taken care of, grab the Rusted Coin from the body in the center, you can either head left up the steep hill, move right, or continue down. Attack from a distance, or dart in quick to get some hits and then either get behind to hop back out of reach of their branches for before attacking again.

There are three on this path up, and further up you can spot the forms of four sitting Farron Followers up the road along with a body holding a Large Soul of an Unknown Traveler. Engage the Followers carefully, and avoid the salvo of javelins as you try and lure them down to pick them off one by one. Moving past them, you can find a Follower Javelin at the ridge overlooking the bonfire you had come from previously. Going left from the forest leads up a hill into a large group of the Weeping Willows, only these have branches full of tiny flames that they will send your way in a slow homing fashion.

It may not seem too bad until you have two or three of them slinging dozens of fireballs - so keep mobile at all times, and only move in to strike a few times before returning to your pattern of dodging fire. Near the top, two wolves will be hiding behind the last few Willows, so either bait them down or get them to keep their distance while you finish the rest of the Willows.

Past the ridgeline is an incline filled with red rot being fed on by more Fly Creatures, but to get to them you have to head down a path filled with trees - half of which are Weeping Willows in disguise. Be very careful as you make your way down and take them out, and then take out the Fly Creatures to grab the Frozen Weapon spell they were guarding. Further down, the path leads through a canyon where a frozen body holds 2 Black Firebomb.

This canyon leads to our main goal, but to get more special items, return to the forest for another optional area that loops back to the canyon. Going down the main forested path will alert more wolves to come running from the sides, and as you combat two more wolves by the left wall, another long howl will bring forth a Giant Wolf.

Snowfield - definition of snowfield by The Free Dictionary

This thing is not to be trifled with, as it will dance out of reach before performing giant charging attacks - often laced with the power of frost to slow you down. Even blocking some of its charging bashes will take a lot of stamina, so try dodging past the charge and turn to attack as it stops its swipe. Luckily you'll only need to deal around half it's health in damage before it disappears with a howl. When it dies leaving 3 Titanite Shards , look for a body near the middle of the path holding a Large Soul of an Unknown Traveler. This hulking viking of a man is not to be trifled with.

With a large axe and shield , watch for his combo sweeping attacks, and charging dashes. He can also use a new take on the Warcry weapon skill, that gives him the ability to leap into the air that will stun you, before making several running charge attacks that can be hard to dodge on time. When the Millwood Knight falls, check the first ruins on the left and take out the hiding Weeping Willow. Up ahead, be careful as there are two sets of patrolling Millwood Knights each with a Wolf companion - one on the right by the cliffs and another up by the tower who will come your way - and yet another hiding behind some ruins up on the left hillside and is guarding a Heavy Gem.

Moving up the stairs, prepare to engage the first archer, who will take out his axe. The cramped tower may not be the ideal place to fight, so consider backtracking to the floor or even right outside to take him out. Thankfully, the red-eyed Knight up here should be looking out the window, allowing you to climb the ladder and engage him without being ambushed - and you may be able to push him off the ledge. With the second archer dead, first take the stairs down to the broken floor you past and take out a Crystal Lizard hiding on the stairs for Twinkling Titanite , and check the body of a knight for and Ethereal Oak Shield.

Now head up the stairs to the next floor, turn around, and do a running jump to the broken ledge with the bodies to find a Millwood Battle Axe.

Now check the open path through the wall on the opposite side that leads onto a narrow ledge, with a nice view at a chapel in the distance. Leaving the tower, head carefully around the back to find more of that odd red rot growing along the side of the tower, with a body at the base holding a Blessed Gem.

This path leads to a small wooded area full of Weeping Willows overlooking the main forested area you first came down. Make sure to take them all out over on the right side first, as the sloping incline on the left leads to a Millwood Archer and three Wolves - and another Millwood Knight hiding just to his left.
