I had no idea what was going to happen after Book 1 ended, but I knew I needed to start Book 2 asap. Then I was truly surprised, this book took me on a journey that I didn't expect. I felt like the couple had been through so much already, but what they go through this time, is nothing compared to what they had been through.
The issues that they face will truly test Brody and Emma's relationship. I'll be honest some of the things that they face I'm not sure my own relationship could survive. But I had no idea what was going to happen after Book 1 ended, but I knew I needed to start Book 2 asap. But Emma and Brody have a love that shines through. I highly recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a book that isn't your typical love story. It's tough to read sometimes, you want to shout at the characters, then hug them, but in the end you care for them.

Boy am I glad I'm a stubborn person. I'm done with Wrapped in Armour and in my opinion it is great. Brody keeps things from Emma thinking he is protecting her.
His actions have her doubting him and his love for her. Fields writes a great rollercoaster ride of a story. She kept me on the edge of my seat. I hope some things will be cleared up at the end. There is I started with the Love Series and had a hard time with it. There is love, hot sex, suspense and a few laughs. I can't wait to see where this story goes. I'd give some of the plot away, but unfortunately, I don't want to ruin it.

Brody is a guy you love one minute and hate the next. Their love story is so awesome. They go through so much! You will cry and laugh with them. The sex is hot but tastefully written. You fall in love with this couple. The cliff hanger was out of the world. I immediately bought the next book and kept reading!!
I recommend this book to anyone looking for a great love story. I highly recommend reading book 1, Wrapped in Silk first. Brody tries to do the right thing but he and his loved ones pay the price. Emotions run high and just as they think one issue has been dealt with, they are hit with another devastating blow time and time again.

I was sucked in from the last book leading into this one. I couldn't put it down and I was very excited to see more growth from Emma and Brody. We get a real look into why Brody is the way he is and see how strong Emma is. I was secretly hoping that she would be pregnant with all her mood swings and crying but I'm sure that would make Brody crazier than he comes off to be in the book. Another excellent series- the second book takes us to a very dark side of Brody Hines. He went to London to find someone and ended up being held hostaged and drugged for 8 months. Emma never gave up hope that he was alive and would come back to her. She leaned on her ex-husband and family for support even when she knew they did not believe he was alive.
Though the age of the knight was over, armour continued to be used in many capacities. Soldiers in the American Civil War bought iron and steel vests from peddlers both sides had considered but rejected body armour for standard issue. The effectiveness of the vests varied widely—some successfully deflected bullets and saved lives, but others were poorly made and resulted in tragedy for the soldiers.
In any case the vests were abandoned by many soldiers due to their weight on long marches as well as the stigma they got for being cowards from their fellow troops. By that period, the shiny armour plate was covered in dark paint and a canvas wrap covered their elaborate Napoleonic style helmets.
