Third year coming up for the boat tour a wonderful Halloween treat This year our oldest went with 3 of her friends. They had a blast. I can not wait till next year. I enjoyed the Ghost Boat Tour but it wasn't what I expected. Long story short, it's about a 30 minute boat ride to a cavern that's been set-up similar to a haunted house. When you first arrive at the cavern, you walk thru what WILL be the "haunted" part but at that point it's just skeletons and things like that to look at.

When you get to the end of the walkway, there's a concession stand and restrooms. After about 15 minutes, you get in line to head back the way you came. At this point though, all the tiki torches that were previously lighting the walkway before are out, making it really, really dark, and it's pretty much your basic haunted house, with characters jumping out at you but not touching you , screaming, etc. If you sit towards the front of the boat, where they have the plastic on the sides to keep it warmer, you can't see any of the landscape.

My husband, who usually never gets cold, was cold. Let me start by saying this review is about the fall Ghost Boat: Season of the Witch. The summer time Ghost Boat: Journey into Haunted Canyon was outstanding and worth every penny. Season of the Witch was the biggest let down out of any attraction I've ever been to in my 25 years of coming here. You spend 40 minutes heading up river to Witches Gulch, get off the boat and go maybe a quarter mile if that through a trail between rock formations, then you arrive at a concession stand.

After that they make you wait in a big line to go back through what you had just walked which lasts 10 minutes tops.

Not only that but we encountered at the most 5 actors. After that you just get back on the boat and head back and you're all done. The only scary part was watching your money get flushed away. Don't waste your time, trust me!

Then you walk back the same walkway to the boat and head back to dock. Paul Van Riper said at the time. Sancoff did things differently than most in the defense contracting world. So he just decided to build it. He named the company Juliet Marine Systems, and its flagship project was called Ghost. That was in Its clever design makes its radar signature minimal, so most larger ships won't even pick it up on their radar displays. And since its cockpit sits far above the water, it can literally cut through waves for a smooth ride, reducing the slamming effect that rough water would have on a crew.

But instead of pushing, they are pulling. Sancoff, believing the Ghost could have many more uses outside the military market, scoffed at the idea of losing his intellectual property. He turned down the contract, thinking eventually the US Navy would go for it, and if not, he could sell to a friendly nation such as South Korea, Japan, or the UK. Instead, about a month later, Sancoff said, "I had secrecy orders slapped on my company.
