While wrtten from the perspective of the black experience, anyone who wants to stop, question and truly examine their beliefs and what they are doing to their lives should read this book. One person found this helpful. This book is a must-have and a must-read for the person interested in the growth and progression of the Black community.
There are some eye opening information relayed by Mr. Camara that may be too big of a pill to be swallowed by many. This is not a book for those that do not wish to experience any cognitive dissonance. If you fear having your beliefs challenged, then look elsewhere.

His approach is good. I did want more meat. A good starting point for the ills of religious blind beliefs.

The author writes in a very conversational manner, making the book an easy read. The subject matter however, forces the reader to examine themselves and some tightly held beliefs. Christians can learn a great deal from this book. As a former Christian, I will definitively recommend this book, to all religious denominations. I like this one.
