This review was originally published at Worth a Read. Jul 25, John Purvis rated it really liked it. I received a galley of this novel for review through https: Most of the story is set in Yemen. Terrorist Abdul Wahab is both seeking power as well as the death of Stone.
Wahab sets one trap after another for Stone, often using Stones friends as bait. Stone seems to always maneuver his way free, though not without serious injury. Western Intelligence thinks that Wahab has been turned, but his efforts are far from helpful. Stone and Wahab tangle time an again. This was a good read of just over 7 hours for the page novel. Unlike some, it kept most of the action believable. While this was the third novel in the series, it read well on its own.
I give this novel a 4.
