This is written by an Anglican priest, experienced in dealing with death in its many facets. It is wise, compassionate and practical and addresses both those facing death personally and to those affected by it. It acknowledges the problems and confusion of many in this situation and offers reassurance to those left behind.

Sensitively and intelligently written for those who are facing death, caregivers, those left behind, Woodward guides the reader through the acceptance of one's mortality. He eases us through the difficult moments and coaxes us to face the difficulties of pain, loneliness, and loss. He guides us through the process of planing our own funerals.
