Blue and Chloe quickly grabbed my heart and became one of my favorite book couples ever. Their banter is at times both sweet and funny because they completely understand each other. I can't find the words to adequately express how much I loved this book. This book proves yet again, why this author is one of my favorites. While this is book four in the series, I think you can easily read it as a standalone, though I do recommend reading them in order.
Jan 10, Melanie rated it it was amazing. This book was a tear jerker fantastic read. Blue and Chloe have such chemistry together it makes you beg for the same. Their young lives were hard and they fought it to have a good life but all it really did was make them sad and lonely. They have each other to fight the darkness that threaten them. Blue Carboni is of course a sexy drop dead gorgeous hunk who is emotionally dead, who accidently meets i think it was FATE the beautiful sensual Chloe Dalton when they end up both staying in the same cabin in Birch Crossing, of course the couples start of a new romance is not helped when both people are pulling away from the tie because of their pasts that we as a reader know they should be grabbing on to and running with because they are perfect for each other.
The story of course keeps you feeling that they better fallen in love or i would have jumped right in there and robbed him for myself well in my imagination this could have happened YEA I WISH Aug 28, T rated it it was amazing. I had read the Ever After series and had hoped Blue would get a book. I actually searched for his name a couple of years ago. I think Blue and Harlan are very similar. Be prepared to laugh, gasp, shake your head and even she'd a tear or two. Jan 15, Madison Warner Fairbanks rated it it was amazing Shelves: A beautiful romance that touched me deeply. I laughed a lot at Chloe and grinned a lot when Blue gave Chloe a grin. I read paragraphs over and over in the middle of reading to slow it down. I didn't want that joy and laughter to go away.
I didn't want this feeling of love and adoration to end. Sure, midway through me, and I'm sure ever other reader, wanted to shake them both and give them the solution, but it takes them and a friend quite a bit longer to come to the same solution. And then I was crying. An absolute must if you love a good romance with heart. If I could give this one six, seven or more stars, I so would. My heart just exploded in terror, and my brain is irretrievably melted from fear.
I was asleep and reacted instinctively when you barged in. I was fleeing killer mosquitoes. Had she been screaming? She kind of thought she might have been. If I really was a bad guy, you should have worked harder to alert help.

From the moment you meet Blue and Chloe, you want to know everything about them. They had difficult childhoods for different reasons, but both of them feel broken. The feeling for them is constant, but I think every reader can relate. At some point everyone feels broken. Blue and Chloe have a connection that neither one wants to admit exists. It's frustrating at times that they don't realize how rare and amazing that connec I was hooked from the beginning and I didn't want to put this book down.
It's frustrating at times that they don't realize how rare and amazing that connection is, but I think it's better for them in the end. Jan 15, Sydney Hopke rated it really liked it. What a great story! Blue rescues kidnap victims but is not in good shape mentally after the last mission.

But can 2 souls that don't want romance or love find happily ever after? Two people not looking for love but find each other you would think could be sappy but this book is anything but. The depth to the characters is great and the story line just has you wanting more. You have 2 lost souls and a town that wants to help them.
A must read story for the romantics and even those not really into them. The story will put a smile on your face and also tears in your eyes, yup keep the hankies near but so worth it!!! I receive a copy in exchange for nothing. I'm leaving my opinion because I want to. Each can be enjoyed as a standalone, but having now been introduced to the couples from the previous books, I am going straight to Amazon to download their stories!! Irresistibly Mine is a great small town romance. I love Blue and Chloe together, they are both outsiders who come to Birch Crossing to heal, and they recognise something within each other - they can see the pain the other is in and can n This is the fourth book in Stephanie Rowe's Birch Crossing series and the first one I have read.
I love Blue and Chloe together, they are both outsiders who come to Birch Crossing to heal, and they recognise something within each other - they can see the pain the other is in and can not help being drawn to one another. Stephanie Rowe adds depth and emotion to the story and characters as she reveals the events that lead Blue and Chloe to Birch Crossing.
There is also a lightness to the story, both with the humour running through it, and the overall message that with the right people around you, with their love and support, you will heal. Overall, this is another fantastic book by Stephanie Rowe and she continues to be one of my go-to authors.
