Grant and Shawna are amazing people, and they have been through so much… most importantly: I was so inspired by Grant and Shawna that my husband and I started a non-profit group to help others and we put up a dream board- that actually does work! The journey they share in this book is incredible, and anything is possible, if you put your mind in the right place, everything else will follow. Grant puts the struggles of life in perspective. As officers, we are trained to fight, never to give up, even if we are shot or injured, and "Two Feet Back" beautifully articulates this premise. Grant is told to prepare for a different life than he had envisioned, he fights, never giving up though he was injured, and he continues to improve, stepping ever closer to living the life he and Shawna had designed for themselves.
He and Shawna's beautiful example of love and hope is remarkable and something every reader will want to learn from, and if they're smart, aspire to emanate in their own lives and relationships. In a nutshell, this book promotes action based on positivity - how can you go wrong?

This is an incredible story of love, endurance, possibility and, most importantly, positivity. On the outside, it's about a guy recovering from a spinal cord injury, but it turns out that the most important component in healing is what goes on inside. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who likes to be inspired, who appreciates love, who wants to do more with their life, who believes that anything is possible.
