The Silent Ones (The Lamia #2) by S.J. Bach
One of the most enjoyable experiences is the humor. There were times when I was laughing out-loud and had to share what was going on with those around me and there is always something being lost in translation resulting in chuckles and was wonderfully written. There is a mystery that will unfold throughout the book and the resolution is very satisfying. I would recommend this read to anyone with an interest in this genre it was a very pleasurable and different read. Right off the bat this story captured my attention. She comes across a super hot vampire named Rhys who vows to take out the threat.

I fell in love with the characters, they had so much depth and their own unique personalities. I also found myself laughing at the mob boss, he was insane but hilarious.
I hated him, but at the same time I kinda liked him. Don't even get me started on Pierre This story has a lot going for it; the mob connection, raging vampire war, Romeo and Juliet love story. I didn't want to put it down. I think that no matter what your age, you will totally enjoy this unique twist on vampires. Dec 01, P.
The Silent Ones (The Lamia #2)
Well developed characters, plot and scenes. A very enjoyable reading experience. Jan 04, Renee rated it it was amazing. Excellent read I enjoyed how the story pulled you in as if you were actually there. I can't wait to start reading book 2. My biggest complaint was how Olivia claimed to be mature for her age but at times she acted like a two year old and it was very annoying.
But overall not a bad read.
