The songs are relaxed, yet engagingly dynamic, and the production is top notch. Considering the above groups, this reminds me the most of The Black Angels' psychedelic rock. Every Other Day by The Dandelion. Mystical new single from Australian psych project the Dandelion features twisting Farfisa lines, ghostly vocals, and spaced out atmosphere. Total Commitment by The Staches. Two girls and two guys from Geneva, Switzerland, make raucous and danceable Slits-esque punk songs with lyrics in English. Jeriel van der Land. Purchasable with gift card. Over the course of ten tracks, the band sounds commanding in the darker passages or punked-up outbursts and shine in the more sunny, coloured moments, while the flow and pace of the album produce a wholly entrancing record.

She said it herself in her initial statement when arrested. Stabbed in the neck. Seems like she intended to kill him. No protests coming for this one I bet. Now, if it were the other way around I wonder how lenient her sentence will be. Police quoted her as saying that they had been quarreling because he wanted to break up with her.
That's usually learned through hard experience, if at all. My friend was stabbed and killed Friday night the person you are all talking about. Every couple argues and fights. Stop blaming the victim.

I know for sure he was a great person. He also fought for your freedom being a soldier.
There was a news network in japan that released more information on the incident. People are messed up. They are both wrong. Killing is wrong, but this is a story that needs to be told. This is a common thing among military stationed in japan. Cheating is also wrong. Zachary, cheating may be morally reprehensible but it does not justify murder. Also define common, tons of married Japanese men use "health services" which is just paid adultery and they manage not to be murdered. I looked to see if he was married - not that it matters, but found no article stating so, or mentioning a grieving widow.
Also, he was over 40, and she was just 27 - again, not that it really matters. I suspect that they had some good times too. It is a shame that it ended this way - a life lost, and a life ruined.

And from Educator60's link above: I decided to kill him first and then myself. Thanks for the wife and age corrections - but if he was close to his 20, at 35 he started his military career a bit early. And instead of a life lost and one ruined - maybe a second one severely damaged - his wife. He was married and she didn't know for over 6 months. She got her dream job in England and she actually moved to England, and after 1 month, he requested her to return to Japan, she quit her dream job in England and came back to Japan, they were "engaged" and she told her family they were getting married in two years and moving to Hawaii together.
My sympathy would go to the woman and to his wife, but not much to him. Commanteer - It is true, this woman has always wanted to work abroad, studied English for many years and finally got her job in England. She gave that up and returned to Japan to be with him and he wanted her back, and he signed the divorce paper which made her believe they were getting married. Like I said, nothing can justify murder, but he had chances to tell her he was married, he also knew she was giving up her dream job to return to Japan, he signed divorce paper I hope the truth comes out.
The Japanese Girl
I doubt it will. And either way, her life is ruined. Murder is wrong, but it can be understandable - especially knowing the despair that this would have brought on her. He ruined her life all for his own selfish desires? And all these people saying what a great guy he was?
Goes to show, there's always a lot more to any story than people think. Commanteer - Right, because of the mistake she made, her stories probably would not be heard, it is sad. I am sure he was a wonderful guy to so many people, but the fact is that he has ruined this one woman's life. Again, it does not justify murder and she should have just walked away, but to call her crazy and whacko isn't right, either.

I am curious as to your source. Was this printed somewhere, or are you personally familiar with the situation? I see they are probably going with that line of defense to lay some of the guilt on the MSGT. Not what I would call ideal, but if you were being charged for murder I would want my lawyer to use every legal trick available to get me out of it. I guess it will come down to that "responsibility" that they tell us about here in Japan if you have a traffic accident.

I imagine that something similar will be used in this lady's defense. Not that what he did if he did anything is justification for murder, but that is how I see the justice system working in Japan sometimes. At this point it doesn't really matter who's wrong or who's right. A murder is a murder. And if she gets the death sentence for this, it could be years before she meets her Maker, just like the Aum cult leaders.
