Sunrise Stingray City
This writer considers how wearing a cap changes his mind-set and makes him feel as if my thoughts are kept inside his head. DJ Mag wonders if the mask has a similar effect for Sherard. But I wasn't going to argue with James Stinson. I felt it and I understood what he wanted, because I understood the Drexciya legacy.
Was injured...SHOULD NEVER ALLOW... - Stingray City
I was Stingray from that day on. His slightly hooded, watchful eyes give absolutely nothing away. Not his energy levels. Little eye contact, limited cheer, a sense of languid energy. Tourists have left the building, lurkers luck out or fuck off, the room begins to harbour a different energy. Stingray is stepping up for business.
For the first time that night, Room 2 feels intimate. Maybe that was better, though, it allowed me to focus on my DJ set. You know that was my first time at fabric, right? I wanted to bring something special. But you get the sense that every set Sherard plays is something special.
This man is a diligent craftsman and an absolute monster on the wheels. Quick chops, flash mixes, sudden switches, and a rising sense of tension and momentum. He rips through upwards of tracks across two hours on two s and two CDJs. But it turns out his fabric debut was special. DJ Mag is interested in his thoughts on how the club has had to adopt such strict security procedures to retain its licence.

And he encourages friends and fans to research the topics and clue themselves up, too. I understand their challenge. Activism is a dominant strand in the Stingray DNA. Far from the suspicious, moody, ice-cold artist techno folklore sometimes portrays him as, Sherard seems warm, engaging, upbeat and animated. Albeit a little tired. Fabric was the latest in a long line of summer shows: Thanks for sharing the experience - makes me even more jealous of everyone who is currently in Grand Cayman unlike myself.

Sometimes the best shots are planned AND created. You know its gotta be good to see Joe up at 4AM!

When you gonna take me? Incredible photo and I really appreciated the technical components that were combined to make it work! You must be logged in to comment. Takako Uno Expert Photographer. Takako was born in Japan and is now based in Hong Kong. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity! We went as a family on this trip with our two children aged 4 and 7. We had spoken to others who had really enjoyed it and said it was worth every penny so we decided to give it a go. My husband had been sceptical of the trip as he was with someone who got stung by accidently stepping on a baby stingray in the past and it was extremely painful.

However since it was apparently completely safe we decided to go. The boat left from the beach right next to our resort Verandah so that was easy and I really enjoyed the boat trip out - saw a little more of the beautiful island. Both daughters were a little nervous of being in the water with such big creatures, and they do feel very strong when they brush against you. My husband stayed in the water with them a little longer and fed them some squid. The guys had warned that they might give a "love bite" when being fed as they basically hoover up the food like a vacuum and can leave a red ring on your hand.
However we weren't prepared for what happened next. One of the rays basically tried to eat my husbands stomach, it "bit" sucked? Quite scarey and very painful.

Until I saw the blood I had thought it was a just a love bite and found it quite amusing. But when he came out of the water and I saw the blood it wasn't funny at all. Our daughters were really upset that he had been hurt and we were just pleased that it happened to him and not one of them who could have been seriously hurt and totally traumatised.
Afterwards we spoke to someone who said that they had heard of 3 people badly bitten in the last month and someone else being stung and getting seriously ill. We also spoke to someone who had been been swept across the stomach by one of the barbs as a ray swam past and had a big red sore mark like a jelly fish sting across his stomach. You really do need to be aware of the potential danger, especially if you are thinking of taking young children in the water with these very large, beautiful but ultimately wild creatures.
If we had heard the stories of bites and stings beforehand we would never have taken this risk. Enjoyed swimming, holding and feeding them, then snorkelling afterwards - lots of beautiful fish. Did not enjoy jeep safari there - 45 mins each way and extremely bumpy and uneventful, nothing to see, no wildlife. Not allowed to wear beach shoes, so I slipped when getting back into boat, very dangerous. I thought I had done a lot of damage - to me, not the boat, however I got off lightly.

My wife and I just experienced this. It's something that I will probably never get to do again in my life. I will never forget it! We had the best time! Definitely one of the coolest things I've done in my life. I would highly recommend this! Own or manage this property?
