The text is in 3 columns, there is a column with spaced hiragana in the middle, it should make it easier to read the original Japanese text that it written with hardly any kanji because it is an edition for children who don't know many kanji and that makes it more difficult to read for the beginner in Japanese. The conversion to spaced hiragana was done automatically so there are some mistakes there, but it is nonetheless useful for the beginner.
