This is the first book I've read by Emilia Hartley, but it won't be the last. The Lycanthrope is a wonderful paranormal romance with suspense around every corner. I didn't want to put it down, so obviously read it in one sitting. The characters were well developed and believable. The cover artistry is what first attaracted me, but I just devored the story once I started. I very m I was lucky enough to be given a copy of this book because I enjoyed it to the point that I wanted to leave a review.

Sarah, the local wise woman, is leading a lonely existence until one day she stumbles upon a nearly drowning Henry. After rescuing him, she feels drawn to him. Upon their second meeting, he tells her his family secret and she vows to help him break their curse. This is a good read the combines regency and paranormal flawlessly.

Two American college students on a walking tour of Britain are attacked by a werewolf that none of the locals will admit exists. This movie has some slow parts, but it is very good. A teenage girl in a country manor falls asleep while reading a magazine, and has a disturbing dream involving wolves prowling the woods below her bedroom window. Very weird movie, but very good. The notorious monster hunter is sent to Transylvania to stop Count Dracula who is using Dr.
Frankenstein's research and a werewolf for some sinister purpose. I know its not strictly a werewolf movie. Werewolves do play a pretty big part in it though and they looked great. Good CG and good action. And Kate Beckinsale looks amazing as always. Unrated 79 min Comedy, Horror.
As a series of strange and violent events begin to occur, an alcoholic policeman realizes that he has been turned into a werewolf as part of a larger plan. I thought the werewolf design was great, and it had no cgi. Pretty good transformation scene as well. As for the movie, it is pretty funny. It has some good performances and a really good story. An origins story centered on the centuries-old feud between the race of aristocratic vampires and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. By far my favorite of the underworld movies. I know a lot of the werewolves are cg but I still think they look awesome. Has a lot of good action, but I hate the werewolves die so easily. But its really good in my opinion.
R 94 min Drama, Horror. Set in 19th Century Canada, Brigette and her sister Ginger take refuge in a Traders' Fort which later becomes under siege by some savage werewolves. A very good movie in my opinion. Werewolves look good, even though they die easily. I love the scene when ginger opens the gate and lets them in. Favorite part in any of the ginger snaps movies. The juice of a rare Tibetan flower is the only thing that keeps Dr. Glendon from turning into a werewolf during a full moon. Not Rated 70 min Horror. A practical man returns to his homeland, is attacked by a creature of folklore, and infected with a horrific disease his disciplined mind tells him can not possibly exist.
Finally re-watched it and have to say I had it rated way too low. I don't have it rated all that high, because there isn't really a lot of violence. However it does have a very good plot and some great acting to go along with it. Paul Johnson is a guy running for his life. A year after surviving a werewolf attack, he now carries the burden of the bloodline and finds himself chased down and hunted by a team of Goverment based Specialists.
For a B movie on a very low budget it is pretty well done. The werewolf looks pretty awesome. Also Dense Fear which is the first movie is not on IMDb, which was made back in is a very good werewolf movie as well. Though the quality isn't great on it. The 2nd overall is a little better, has more werewolf action in it. Both can be seen on youtube. Not Rated 95 min Horror. The werewolf design is kinda like a more vicious version of teen wolf.

It is a very good movie, just probably not what most of you are looking for. So I won't rate it too high considering the genre. Takes place in in New France at a time when a part of Canada was colonialized by France. Pretty good werewolf movie. It was made in Canada and is in french. But anyways has a pretty good story and has a little bit of comedy in it.
The werewolves were cg, but they didn't look that bad. Werewolves The Dark Survivors: This two hour special examines what werewolves would be like if they actually existed and were part of society. It is shot in a faux-documentary style. Good werewolf movie, werewolves look more like the wolf man except less hair. Has a good story as well.
