Worrying about him, His sister decides to enlist the help of Lilly a well known physical therapist. Like I said, so far, it is ok But There are Two things that did not sit well with me through out this story: Simon poking holes in the condoms, that showed a selfish - Slight Spoilers - Overall the story was ok.. Simon poking holes in the condoms, that showed a selfish and immature side of him. I thought that Simon's recovery was a bit unrealistic or maybe the Author could have smoothed it over better.

At the end of the story not only can Simon walk on his own two legs without faltering, but He also picked up Lilly and walked with her. It just didn't seem believable, it was almost May 30, Lauren rated it liked it. Lilly was frustrating and a glutton for punishment. Vittorio's Woman

Sweet with a nice love story and amazing epilogue! That was a well done happily ever after: Feb 15, postcrdprincess rated it really liked it Shelves: Story Description Simon Vittorio was determined to make Lilly his woman from the moment he first laid eyes on her. Not just because she believes she can help Simon walk again, but because she is hopelessly in love with him My Thoughts Although this book was downloaded on my Kindle as a free read, I was looking forward to reading it because of the story description.

At the beginning of the story, you realize that Lilly has met Simon before his accident, but never had the opportunity to speak with him.

She did feel an instant connection with him, but was shy and afraid that he would not be interested in her, because he was handsome and could have any woman that he wanted. She still feels an attraction, and hopes that she can keep a professional attitude. Although Simon, who is unable to see at the time Lilly arrives at his home as his physical therapist, he recognizes her as the woman that he met at the club, that he felt himself being drawn too, but was unable to speak with her because she ran out. He also still feels an attraction, but feels less of a man, and wants to get rid of her.

This book was well written, however, I felt like the relationship with Lilly and Simon was still a bit rushed. They went from avoidance of one another to in bed with another before the week was over. I would have liked to see them take a little longer to come to terms with their feelings for one another. There is also a secondary relationship in this book, and I would have liked to read more on their back story and future. Overall, the book was a good read, and I would like to read more from this author.

Dec 21, Paige rated it liked it Shelves: If you make this book a light read and take it with a grain of salt, then you could really enjoy this story. I had read a few reviews, so I knew going in not to expect the most adult schemes as Simon Vittorio tries to get Lilly Barclay pregnant. I knew going in to just go with it and laugh. What I think made the story redeeming, at least in my mind, was that both Simon and Lilly did love each other from practically the start.

They just went about it in some unorthodox manners.

I felt that was just a way to get Simon and Lilly to meet. Thus Simon puts in motions his plans to win her over… yes in other ways as well. They both try jealousy on the other to make them admit their feelings and learn pretty quick how fast that can backfire. Never letting go, they have a quick wedding and after their honeymoon plan a big one for their families.

Monday Book Review: Vittorio's Woman - Ruth Madison

The epilogue was great. I loved reading how big their family had grown and how their love had expanded. Feb 26, Tonileg rated it it was ok Shelves: Simon Vittorio is a smoking hot businessman that has never had a 'serious' relationship because of some early experiences that taught him the 'right' way to be with a woman. Lilly is a sweet earnest and innocent nurse that comes from a rich family, but she hides it well so that people accept her help as a physical therapist.

Lilly usually only takes on children to nurse back to health, but she makes an exception to help Simon after he is in a terrible car accident that leaves him perhaps blind and paraplegic. This is terrible, but it does allow for some events to occur without Simon knowing that he is acting like a big jerk to Lilly.

I was surprised that there was a mix of using protection and not. It was totally bad that Simon sabotages all the protection with holes so that he can try to get Lilly pregnant. Which makes me repeat to my lady friends that they should bring their own supplies to a lovin' party. There is a secondary romance with Milana and Luc but it is a tiny romance next to the Simon and Lilly crazy relationship. This was well written and edited so it made for a decent read that I got free for kindle.

From the beginning of the book I was engaged by the characters.

See a Problem?

Lilly is very naive but not stupid, plus she's wealthy, not your typical i-need-a-man-who-can-help-me-come-out-of-my-debt's-and-who-will-spoil-me-and-make-me-his-trophy-wife heroine and Simon an alpha male who even if his pride is been bruised at least he knows that Lilly won't just walk out the door as soon as things get tough between them, I mean he's been rude to her and she's been able to see through him and still loves him.

The From the beginning of the book I was engaged by the characters. The only thing that I found against the book is that the author kind of spoiled the book's outcome in the middle of the story. We will be able to make our own conclusions, please don't spoil it, and if you're going to say something about what the MC's want or don't as the case might be, hint to something other that the actual ending.

As for the rest, the book needs a little more editing, but I didn't put it against the story as the book was self-published and there wasn't that many errors throughout the book. Other that that it was a great captivating story and I am going to definitively be reading the next book. Feb 08, Ambyr rated it really liked it Shelves: I thought this book was a well written romance novel. For the most part, the characters were developed, understandable, and realistic.

My only reason for withholding that fifth star is that there were plot jumps. There were sections of the story line that made a logic leap that was hard to follow. That is to say, and to try to say without spoilers is hard, but there were areas where the reader and story would have benefited from an additional few paragraphs to lead us from WHY Simon made that le I thought this book was a well written romance novel. That is to say, and to try to say without spoilers is hard, but there were areas where the reader and story would have benefited from an additional few paragraphs to lead us from WHY Simon made that leap of decision or feeling that he did, WHY Lilly decided she was going to behave this way and then instantly proceeded differently.

I guess it was just a little more allowability for depth that would have made the story flow much better. Having said that, though, this writer is very good, the plot is unique from many that we see time and time again, and I will be happy to read other works by Mrs. She absolutely has the possibility to be one of the better romance writers! Jun 30, Elizabeth rated it did not like it. The characters if one can call them that are childish, immature and insufferable. By the way, I hope there aren't many physical therapists out there who plot to make their wheel-chair bound patients feel the misery and upset of jealousy, just because they therapists don't have the courage and the honesty to own up to their feelings.

Both hero and heroine are supposed to be mature and adults but they behave worse than my 15 year old sister. And ladies, henceforth, carry your own condoms! Jan 16, Sue rated it really liked it. Another Vittorio family book that I had on my kindle for a while now and it was the perfect light read for a day when I needed a distraction. I would consider this almost a rom-com I liked it and would read more on other family members. May 30, Steelwhisper rated it it was ok Shelves: Seriously, this was so utterly soppy, down to the uber-HEA-tic epilogue, that I do need some gin tonic now.

I do like a bit more grit. Jan 16, Lyndaa rated it did not like it. Sadly I didn't enjoy this book. I found the plot a bit silly and didn't engage with the characters. Simon Vittorio came across as shallow, selfish and manipulative all the way through the story and tricking someone into getting pregnant isn't the basis for a healthy relationship.

Jul 25, Liz Lawson rated it liked it. I hate stories when they meet and declare their loves within days Simon is sexy strong character but for me his dialogue was too syrupy sweet. In parts I cringed at the dialogue.
