His prolific output is partially owed to the relationship he has with his many co-authors who share an authorship credit on the cover. A young mother is recuperating in a top San Francisco hospital when suddenly she's gasping for breath. The call button fails to bring help in time.

How and why did this happen? With help from the newest member of the Women's Murder Club, Yuki Castellano, Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer discovers that this is not the hospital's first suspicious case. Other patients have taken unexpected and devastating turns for the worse just as they're planning to go home. When two dead bodies are found inside a wrecked car on the Golden Gate Bridge, Detective Lindsay Boxer doubts that it will be anything as simple as a traffic accident. The scene is more gruesome than anything she has seen before.

Sightings of her ex-colleague-turned-ruthless-killer Mackie Morales have been reported. In a late-night showdown, Detective Lindsay Boxer has to make an instantaneous decision: Now everything she's worked for her entire life hinges on the decision of twelve jurors.

To escape the media circus, Lindsay retreats to the picturesque town of Half Moon Bay. Lindsay Boxer is pregnant at last! But her work doesn't slow for a second. When millionaire Chaz Smith is mercilessly gunned down, she discovers that the murder weapon is linked to the deaths of four of San Francisco's most untouchable criminals. And it was taken from her own department's evidence locker.

Since former US Marine Jack Morgan started Private, it has become the world's most effective investigation firm - sought out by the famous and the powerful to discreetly handle their most intimate problems. Private's investigators are the smartest, the fastest, and the most technologically advanced in the world - and they always uncover the truth. When his former lover is found murdered in Jack's bed, he is instantly the number one suspect.

WMC - Season 1 Episode 2 - Train in Vain

May 08, Kerstin Stutzke rated it really liked it.

May 25, Hinkenpinken's Welt added it.

The 6th Target (Womens Murder Club 6)

Die Spur der Schuld - Private L.A.

Un finale letteralmente al cardiopalma, da leggere in un fiato per arrivare all'epilogo Jan 16, Lizzy Chandler rated it it was ok Shelves: And it never really grabbed me. There are dead women. There are women in danger. There are strangely fixated men and men with shady pasts. The novel examines the question of envy in a way that I should have found more interesting.

I couldn't find the cover for the English edition. This review first appeared on my blog.

May 16, Janine Zachariae rated it liked it.

Was soll ich sagen?

This book has gotten great reviews.
