Apple and pork is a very interesting combination and it will be perfect for our Christmas dinner. That is a delicious one pan dinner idea!!! It all look so good. The apples and onions with the pork chops sound so awesome. These are some good looking chops! I love that I can make this in one pan, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Plus, it's all made in ONE pan! Season both sides of pork chops with kosher salt and black pepper. Chops will continue cooking in the sauce later. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together chicken stock and mustard, set aside.

Add remaining 1 Tbsp oil to the pan, then add apples and onions. Cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Pour in stock mixture, using a wooden spoon to gently scrape the bottom of the pan to release any brown bits those are full of great flavor. Slide pork chops back into the pan, nestling them down in between the apples.

My husband and 12 year old daughter, who are very particular, told me this was a keeper! This recipe is absolutely amazing! My nine year old daughter said I was only allowed to make pork chops like this from now on, and that it was her new third favorite food. Which is a big deal coming from her.

The only thing I did different was I added about a tablespoon and a half of sriracha sauce because our house likes a bit of a kick with our pork.

This was a simple recipe that tasted like I spent hours cooking. Next time I will make extra sauce to drizzle over rice or potatoes. This was loved by the whole family.
