Single parents very often don't fit into church programs. The divorced single parent is rarely warmly welcomed and certainly not to family part is in the homes. Singles groups are often a different group looking for never married dates.
Our church has a group for divorced singles with children. I have always enjoyed Kristin's books. This one was not her very best job but it was good. Any of her books are great.
