Labours of Love: Canadians Talk About Adoption by Deborah A. Brennan

Fourth visit to the Labours in four years and the food and service is still impressive and impeccable. Sat at the bar facing the kitchen. Tried the fish, the scallops, duck and all of it was perfection.

Desserts are hard to resist. We will return hopefully sooner rather than later. Eggs and fritata Are really delicius.

We love it there! Ate there many times. Service and staff at restaurant were fantastique! Wine list is well put together and not overpriced at all. The food was much below previous years' quality level and technique in the kitchen. Went from good to really really bad from one day to the next. Considering the price of the main items of Labours, consistency and understanding of flavors chosen and applied should be organic. Again, their price range competes with high end restaurants in major cities I do not mind paying, but please, consider what the other establishments are serving for these prices.

Many do not have the abundance of exquisite local produce available.

Pretty good food, not cheap, but i was never disappointed. We enjoyed our dinner here and were quite entertained by the waiter who steered us toward his favorite bottle of wine. Our assessment was that it smelled like a barnyard Own or manage this property? Claim your listing for free to respond to reviews, update your profile and much more. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Oct 25, Amanda rated it liked it. I just finished reading this book! A great Canadian resource! It focuses on open adoption, but provides some great adoption stories--even from around here. The shared stories illustrate the perspectives of birth parents, adoptive parents and the children involved both natural and adopted!
