I really liked the idea of using the booklet as a letter. Ooooh, these could be themed cookbooks! Like, one for Thanksgiving sides and desserts, one for Christmas cookies, etc. Themed cookbooks would be really cool! You could mass-produce on a small scale if you can figure out how to do the printing.
The paper I used was 60 lb. It seems that the heavy paper would behave better in a slightly larger format — but I could be wrong! What another great project! I plan on making these for my pen pals as a different way to send the usual letter. I was thinking of gluing a small envelope and tucking in a tea bag or drawing a sketch on of the pages. I especially loved your idea of sharing a recipe, especially this time of year a favorite cookie or dessert recipe!
