Just remember that handkerchief. You might need it. Reader reviewed by jody I knew when i first looked at at the book it was going to be brilliant! As i started to read it i couldn't put the book down. I like the characters Harper, Kaia, Kane and Adam. But, Harper and Adam are my favorite. They were made for each other. In parts of the book, you could see they have a connection and as you go on with the series you'll see there's deep love between them.

Many people won't think so at first, but like said once you read the whole series then you'll understand. Reader reviewed by nettie I came upon this series in the library not really realizing it was a series. The first book I read was envy after finding it lying on a table at the library, it was so good that once I realized it was a series I couldn't wait to continue, so I did with the next book which was pride and then I read wrath. I am currently backtracked to the 1st book in the series which is Seven deadly sins: Unfortunately, the next book is sloth which won't be released til December 26 and after that gluttony March 27 the seventh book in the series will be a surprise but I'm thinking it will be greed, whatever it is I recommend this series it will have you oooing and aahing, laughing, and just wishing you could have a little or maybe alot of time with Kane or Adam, they are absolutely delicious.

The girls are so bad and so mean to each other, typical girl stuff, oh well, go to the library and start reading the series, you won't be sorry, you'll be delightfully engaged in all there activities. Reader reviewed by Sara Jacqui I got this book to hopefully spice up my 'family' vaction! Thank god I did! It was full of the regular truthful high school life!

A smashing NTMA is always a win. Sebastian you sleepy sloth you are where we shall begin….

Sebastian Reaper eldest son to the Grim Reaper carries the sin and curse of Sloth. He is always drained. He falls asleep at the most in On the day the seventh child was born, the Devil came to them with curses. He falls asleep at the most inopportune times. In my head, I could hear my asshole siblings yelling what they always did when this happened, Reaper down!

Reaper — I love Sebastian he is absolutely hilarious, he is loyal, he is protective, and his randomness is endearing. He is adorable in all is sleepy glory. Isabella Wen a witch and something other, something she calls the darkness is on the run. I like Izzie admittedly not as much as Sebastian but that is a contest no one would win. I did find her somewhat irritating at times as it was all woes me when it came to the darkness.

The chemistry between these two is strong and although there is attraction.

Trust must be earned. Her darkness is also attracted to him. It is the beginning of the end. Unless the reapers can stop it. Izzie was sold at a very young age to a cruel entity that has since her 10th birthday infected her with darkness. The past ten years she has managed to live in the human world and keep a low profile. That is until an accident with a supernatural being occurs. Before she goes on the run she trips over a reaper. But not just any reaper. Then he stopped abruptly, his entire body falling. His face landed on top of my legs, his nosed pressed between my thighs.

I stiffened and flushed with embarrassment all at once. Full of imps and ogres and an entity out to rule the Underworld. The entity will send everything he has after Isabella. He wants her back. She is meant to harvest something.

Bewitching Sloth

The author knows how to write a fantastic plot with gripping characters and three-dimensional characters. I had a blast with this book and a riot getting to know the whole reaper family. The pace was just right including the right amount of action and the balance with the story buildup and the characters interaction. I loved every moment of it.

Jul 23, Jess the cozy reader rated it it was amazing Shelves: These two had igniting chemistry, and what better than to see a witch and a grim reaper falling in love. Speaking of which, I loved seeing Killian and Melanie again, especially with their kids. I really, really enjoyed this book. I'm a sucker for in-depth, unique takes on a paranormal story. I found this one to be just that. This is the beginning of a series so there was a lot of background and story set-up.

We have seven siblings all cursed with one of the seven deadly sins, they also happen to be the Grim Reaper's children. Over-all a really cool idea. Sebastian is the bearer of the sin Sloth, not helpful when he is out in the field doing his Reaper duties. Liable to fall asleep at a I really, really enjoyed this book. Liable to fall asleep at any moment, Sebastian and his siblings are doing their duty until the beginning of the end starts to unfold.

He is the eldest sibling and certainly has that, take charge kind of personality. Only most of his siblings can't be controlled and he is sometimes left sleeping. Isabella literally stumbles into the sleeping giant right as she has given her location away. Isabella has been hiding from her dark past and tormenter for a while now but she can only run so far. She is very skeptical of the sparks that fly when she touches Sebastian but sometimes fate is stronger than anyone's will.

Through an intricate and delicious tale of the underworld's Reapers, Sebastian and Isabella need to see if the darkness will consume them or save them. There is a lot of action and a bunch of pieces at play. There are a number of dark forces and series of events have been set into motion that seems like they will be played out over the next number of books. We meet a number of the players that are going to be involved in the overall story.

We met all of the siblings, some witches, demons and all-powerful entities.

See a Problem?

This book had a ton of content, action, suspense and of course sizzling chemistry. Our characters are a long way from getting to the end and I am so looking forward to seeing it all play out. This was a jam-packed beginning of something interesting and a definite must-read for those who love a good paranormal story. Jul 24, Johnaka rated it it was amazing. Each sin different from the next.

This is the story of Sebastian and his sin of the Sloth. I loved the idea of this story and was intrigued by where Gross would take it. Bewitching Sloth is action packed yet leaves plenty of questions for the stories to come. Sebastian works as a Reaper and loves his job. He sees both the bad and the good of the human world. What does this mean?

Isabel Izzie is on the run. As a child she was given to a bad man and she barely escaped his clutches the first time. Especially when stuff around them keeps happening. She makes Sebastian feel alive and he makes her feel safe. These two balance each other out, but at he same time she has the power to bring his family down. Bewitching Sloth took place over what felt like a short amount of time, so I am interested to see if the other books are the same way. Jul 30, Jessica Robbins rated it really liked it Shelves: If you are in the mood for a great paranormal romance book with a seven deadly sins theme then this is so the book for you.

As the beginning of a new fabulous series we get the whole background about the curse and why the seven kids carry the deadly sins. Enter Isabella who is in hiding from a very scary guy that finds her life interrupted by Sebastian or Sloth. What follows is some really remarkable world building that really allows you to picture what is going on in between all the character development and romance. Full of plenty of surprise that will keep you guessing while drawing you into the arcing story to the point that now I need book two.

One bad apple, make sure to stay away from him. Bad, bad, he is.

Six are still hopeful, Within their sins. My body thrashed one last time, then silence. When my body rose, I was in search of sins. Light has no place here. Dark has its own shine. Remember, there are seven, but only six are fruitful. Aug 04, Declarations of a Fangirl rated it it was amazing Shelves: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Paranormal romance is my jam! Let's get on to the fun stuff. Bewitching Sloth was just that: I loved Sebastian's character! He was outspoken, confident, capable, funny, and smoking hot with a Actual Review: He was outspoken, confident, capable, funny, and smoking hot with a serious set of fighting skills. Sebastian just has one problem Because he is host to the sin of sloth, his energy drains out of him quickly, and lately, every time he succumbs to his sin, he's been staying out longer and longer. His greatest fear is that he will fall asleep and never wake up.

But enough of the heavy. Did I mention he's hilarious? Her touch wakes him up and gives him tons of energy. Izzie isn't having any of it though. She's a witch who's been on the run from a super demon who can't be killed in the book, peeps who can't be killed, like at all, are called entities for several years and has learned that she can only rely on herself. She just wants to be left alone by everyone. She doesn't get close to supernatural creatures because her touch is lethal to everyone And Sebastian desperately needs a solution to his pesky sin problem, so needless to say, he isn't letting her go without a fight.

I feel like I started us out wrong The books I enjoy the most are always the hardest to review! Don't you think I have a good face? It's the very thing we all need that makes life a little easier. There are tons of epic fight scenes and things got really scary there for a while.

Pride (Seven Deadly Sisters)

Books with unhappy endings aren't common, but this one had me on the edge of my seat, swiping left on my Kindle faster than it could keep up with me. There were several scenes that seriously creeped me out. The author's writing style is very descriptive and really draws you in. The story definitely gave me Lords of the Underworld by Gena Showalter vibes, so if you enjoy books like that, then I highly recommend you give Bewitching Sloth a go. You won't regret it! Jul 24, Jennifer Aldrich rated it it was amazing Shelves: You NEED to dive into this amazing and wonderful world!

Bewitching Sloth is an amazing new novel that dives into a whole new world. It is a paranormal romance that is a stand-alone, but the main plot will span over the series. This book follows one set of characters while the rest will follow a different set of characters in each book. This book has action, romance, mystery, and a whole lot of Say What?? I knew as soon as I read the blurb of this book that I wanted to read it. I love paranormal romances, but I also love interesting story lines that I have never read before.

This book gave me both. What would you do if you were cursed with one of the seven deadly sins? One that causes you to pass out at random times and makes you lose periods of time. This story explores Sebastian, who is cursed with the deadly sin of sloth.

When he meets a witch that seems to change everything, will he take a chance on her or turn his back when she needs him most? Sebastian is an amazing character. Man I am in love with him. He is the son of the Grimm Reaper and a reaper himself. I love his heart the most. While he seems cocky on the outside, inside he has a softness to him. Then you have Izzie. She is a very skittish person. She is on the run from her past when she runs right into the reaper.

I love how strong she is. While she has a battle to wage, she stays strong and does her best to stay on the right path. The heat in this book is scorching. These two characters have immediate chemistry from the very first touch. It is like the touch they share is a balm to the burn that has been torturing them both for their entire lives.

If you like down and dirty heat, then this section of the book is perfect for you. These characters are amazing. The writing style of the book is good. I loved the pace of the book. It was steady but sped up when it needed to. Time passed differently in the book, which makes since. A lot of the book is set in the Underworld so time would pass different than we assume as mere humans. I loved how the story was developed.

Bewitching Sloth (Seven Deadly, #1) by Michelle Gross

The author was able to create a whole world for us to explore. She did great at setting this foundation for the series.
