I found this book a real page turner and very hard to put down at any point. Written by Wendy Taylor, author of 'Shaman in Disguise' we follow Wendy, grandmother, housewife and wife of a corporate businessman, from her life in England to the snow capped mountains of Tuva.

We travel with Wendy as she follows her heart and instincts, often having no sense of what she is doing, or why; as she searches for understanding, overcomes her misgivings and fears and allows her shamanic skills to continue revealing themselves. We first meet Wendy as she prepares for her trip to Serbia and learn a little of her background and experiences whilst working with shamans in India and the Amazonian Rainforest. We follow Wendy as she meets with Lynn Roberts, author, shamanic healer and intuitive, her group leader, and also the rest of her small group of travellers.

We travel with them through Moscow, into Serbia and finally to Tuva where they meet with the main purpose of their journey Ai-Churek, otherwise known as Moon Heart and her fellow shamans. This is an extremely enjoyable and readable book. Wendy is very generous in her sharing of the sometimes difficult experiences she has.

Her journey is very much one of living in the moment, even though that moment may be physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually demanding and at times makes no logical sense whatsoever. It is a journey that many of her readers may find themselves recognising; one of synchronicity, signs, the need to just trust what is happening, occurrences that are hard to share with anyone else at times and an overriding belief that everything happens for a reason.
