I enjoy seeing how things evolve as time goes on! Canada is one of the funniest main characters I've read in years! I love watching her handle her new life in the zombie ridden world. Her sarcasm makes the story that much better! Author of the Zombie Overload Series. I love all things zombie and am a faithful Walking Dead follower. Love me some Daryl! I like to laugh and make others laugh, so I do my best to bring that to my readers…for the Zombie Overload series anyway. Eventually, I will be writing about other creatures that go bump in the night.

Canada and her family are on the run from the zombies. I really like the fast paced, straight forward writing style. I like this character. She is tough and sarcastic. Canada's group meets a man who laughs at their weapons of knives and swords.

I personally think that knives and swords would be better weapons than guns. A shotgun is heavy to lug around and to carry when running away and then what happens when you run out of bullets? Then yo This book takes off right where the first one left off. Then you have a heavy stick to lug around while running away from zombies. Also, guns are loud. If we have learned anything by the Walking Dead, loud noises attract zombies. I personally think the perfect weapon to take on zombies would be a light weight baseball bat. It is portable, lightweight, effective and you don't have to worry about running out of ammo.
What I love the most about Canada is that she is so calm. She suggests tying an injured party to the top of the van like it is nothing. There are a few very important zombie rules that I feel I have picked up from my reading. One, to kill a zombie aim for the head. Two, stay off the roads. Three, get out of the cities. As I was reading this book, I may have been yelling a bit at Canada.
This book is so exciting that I was torn between not reading it because I was so sure that the characters were being stupid and were going to die and reading it to find out what was going to happen and if the characters would live. I really wanted them to live. I was so nervous for them!
I also like that CM Wright talks about the practical stuff like how awkward it is for women to pee on the ground. And I love how Canada protects her children because I would be the same way. I am so excited to start book 3. Once I finish the third book, I am going to be so sad since I don't already have the fourth book. Love the zombie queen. Apr 29, Ravenz Reviews rated it it was amazing. This starts up right where book 1 finished off. The lines have been set, now it is time to cross them and not look back!
I was sucked in from the first chapter! I understand how she feels because I would do exactly the same thing for my family. This book has been read and reviewed by Kerry Erickson and posted with consent on Ravenz Reviews.

Canada is a strong female protagonist who usually has a good head on her shoulders. When she doesn't utilize that head to its fullest extent, the results can be quite humorous. There were a couple scenes toward the end where Canada didn't react as I would have expected her character to, but that would be a bit too much of a spoiler to mention here.

The only real issues I noticed were problems in format I'm really enjoying this zombie apocalypse series by C. The only real issues I noticed were problems in formatting, a few duplicated words, and other fairly minor typos. She makes the book awesome, the other characters are great too, but Canada has something we women can relate to!! She talks to you throughout the book you can just picture everything going on. Minus the cliff hangars lol great job CM Wright!!! Oct 03, Lacy rated it it was amazing.

The author has used some great characters and they all work in the sotry. Yes I recommend this book and I cannot wait to continue to read all of those in this series. Apr 11, N. Kuhn rated it it was amazing Shelves: Yet another amazing tale in this Zombie apocalypse saga. Canada, Will, Jake and the rest take you on another heart pounding, laugh out loud, action driven road trip.
As they continue to make their way across country to find their families, the story plot gets thicker. It pulls you in and won't let go, by the end page, you're screaming NO!
