I recommend this book to young adults. Another name could of been Secret Giver. Small town gets a new owner of the goods store. Much improved he makes friends easily. As a single man he is approach ed by many with daughter's.
He becomes attracted to a very simple spinster type woman. As he gets to know her he learns she has many she helps in town.
They share food and prayer. Odd deliveries arrive from a Secret Giver to the store. He begins to investigate and learns much more about Rose and others in town.

Love the quirky characters with godly character traits. Love the fun episodes the good chuckles that came spontaneously as I read this wonderful story. If you are looking for fast pace thriller, this is not the book for you. If you simply need to relax and go into the sweetness of another world then this is the book for you. I was sad when it was over because I began to love and enjoy the characters. I went to be with them when my own world felt frazzled. Just a sweet book. One person found this helpful.

There are many ways that God's love and guidance is shown in this story. The keeping of the morning glories on the broken down fence, accepting every one as they are regardless of how God has made them, and the way Rose shares her blessings with the community.

A very nice story. I enjoyed it but do not do book reviews. Another wonderful story by Ms. The characters are just the kind of person one would want as a friend and the story is rich with humor and Christian love. I look forward to my next story by Ms Hake. I truly enjoyed this author's story. The main character Rose gave this story a fresh and humble example.
The giving to others is really inspiring. So wonderful to have a gentle yet interesting novel to read. I would recommend this book and author.
