As an Alpha wolf, Braze is also a control freak, but his feelings for Sara come thru in how he accepts her into his life, even as he fights for his life and his freedom from an evil being. Braze smiled at Sara then pulled her after him and she could not help thinking he was like a little boy surprised by his own enthusiasm for showing off his treehouse to a close friend.
Only this little boy just took down the no-girls-allowed sign, she thought, half-smiling to herself. I had a ton more questions towards the end of this book. I am hopeful that these questions will be answered in the next installment. I am usually not a fan of books that leave me with tons of questions. I tend to feel frustrated when I don't get closure, which is how I felt at the end of this book.
So far, I have loved the characters. These feel more like mini adventures with a love story as a bonus. Braze was such a badass that I was looking forward to him falling hard. He showed his feelings for Sara in Everything he did. Will you do that? Will you wait for me? This was an amazing paranormal adventure, with vampires pitted against werewolves. It was action packed with abductions, gruesome murders, and fight scenes.
I couldn't put this book down. View all 20 comments. Oct 10, carol rated it really liked it Recommends it for: Adults and BDSM paranormal story readers. Strengths, I love Aimelie Aames use of language as well as the creative content of her BDSM paranormal stories and this is no exception. There's a use of description here that enriches and enhances the quality of story for readers, almost poetic prose at times. I love this about her writing. She adds to folklore. Her characters are good and encourage like and dislike, according to whom, and their role within the story. Here I loved Braze, and Sara the main characters and enjoyed her subsidiary good guys, and the erotic scenes are so gooood!
However, her Journeyman gave me the absolute creeps, as did the human Deputy Sherriff personification of a hateful, evil abuser. One or two characters like the Nephilim and Clement, Braze's half brother should have stories of their own. Weakness, each part in a series has an abridgement no matter how brief that gives understanding of what has occurred in prior episodes.
So in one part for example, it reflects on Clement. An editor would have helped iron out the unnecessary crossover of the abridgement as well as the few typos discerning readers may find. Hereby, I'm guessing, lies the crux of the matter. Editors cost money and self publishers make little as it is. So I accept this as I would still prefer to read Aimelie's stories than not. This series as a novel, I have between 3. I look forward to reading more of her work. Jun 16, Spuffed rated it really liked it Shelves: The plot had me captivated though there was a bit too much "vague" at the beginning that was clearly intended to be mysterious but came off as just bothersome.
But, I got past that and once I did, the book really took off. Let me see if I can sum it up to get you started There's this human chick who has really had a rough start to life. She's trying to build herself back up when she unknowingly gets drawn into a battle between a uhh She's trying to build herself back up when she unknowingly gets drawn into a battle between all kinds of mythologies and paranormal creatures. There's werewolves, vampires, nephilim, angles, monks-- all kinds of folks.

I cant' say more without spoilers but do realize that a lot happens "off screen" so don't let that bother you, just keep reading and you'll get a good story. And lot's of dirty, dirty sex! I've never quoted from a book before but damn, this one line certainly made an impression: The ending was extremely abrupt but I understand that this collection of novellas intertwines with the author's other works so questions will be answered. Sep 15, Hillary Kaltenbach rated it it was amazing. This is a great book, there is suspense, lust, evil, and the blind love that is forged in a battle between wear wolves and vampires.
I was drawn in by the young woman desperate to leave her past behind and a man who found love in a bar that was worth fighting for. And the reunion of family when hope is lost. Hope you love it as much as I did. I couldn't put it down. Mostly when it changed to other characters in the story happening at the same time. Myself, I would have liked to have had some verbal indicator to the scene transition.
I found, and only in a few places, that I had to read several paragraphs to find out who, what and where things were at. Once I did and reread them the story flowed extremely well.
Her Billionaire, Her Wolf by Aimélie Aames
The cover indicated a bonus story, but when I got to that section it said it was a prequel to this story, and it was. The prequel added some info and insight to the main story , but I can see it was not needed to enjoy the main story, but was enjoyable to read. I highly recommend this book to read. Extremely entertaining and enjoyable to read. I read the first story in this series some time ago, so I jumped on the opportunity to grab up the complete novelized version especially considering the introductory sale price.
I couldn't be happier with this book. It has exactly the sort of complex and intriguing plot, dark magic, foreboding secrets, arcane twists and turns, and blazing hot sex scenes that I love in my paranormal romance. The writing is lush with detail, sensual when it needs to be and downright creepy at other times. The characters are memorable, interesting and complicated and the romance is smoking hot. Absolutely worth picking up.

Now I need to check out more by this author. Sara has got it bad. She's broke, desperate, and hiding from her abusive ex. She visits this expensive restaurant daily at lunch time, orders a virgin drink, just to stare at her obsession.
He's large, sexy, and wreaks of power. Big and Sexy comes to her aid one day, Sara doesn't realize that the desire she feels for him is mutual. Braze is enamored with Sara, jet setting her around the world in order to be alone with her. His desire for her overwhelms him. Her Billionaire, Her Wolf The Novel, is just part of a larger epic tale, with more books to come which is a good thing because I had a ton of questions towards the end of this book. I am hopeful that these questions will be answered in the next installment. So far, I have loved the characters. These feel more like mini adventures with a love story as a bonus.
