We didn't have to pay 15 baht for refills of water to fight with, and the water was cold and clean. Songkran on Kao Sahn Road was so packed and crowded that we got stuck in the middle of a street and could move in or out for 2 hours! FYI, if you don't mind not having air conditioning and staying at a spot that had a sleepy town resort feel to it, stay here.

Plus Bangkok Hospital is 7 minutes away, in case you get sick. We expected a lot more from the photos. Shower is terrible trickle at best. Also lots of lizards climbing everywhere around roof and walls of hallways. Motel is down a metre long driveway, with rats and cochraches crawling around. Also the room doors all have manually locking sliding latches, causing concern as to the location's safety. A buddy and me hat a beautiful stay at this accomodation. It was actually way better than we expected, also given that it's still quite new. The only downside was the neighbourhood which is located about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Chaweng Beach with a couple of annyoing people at the close by shops e.

This is however nothing the accomodation can be blamed for and not really of any interest if one has a car or motorcycle. The apartment is clean and spacious with nice view. John's place was overall a fantastic stay. The location of the condo is perfect as i wanted to be near the centre of chaweng but away from the craziness and this place was ideal for that.

Wifi very fast too. John arranged a airport pick up and scooter was ready for us on arrival at the condo. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future. We stayed at the apartment for 8 nights and loved it. We walked to Chaweng within 20mins and enroute there were plenty of little bars and restaurants to choose from.

The apartment was very clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the stay at the apartment. We loved our stay at this appartment - spacious, clean, no problems with hot water, gas for cooking, all necessary housewares, dishes, pots etc. This was our last week of a 4 week stay in Koh Samui, we stayed in 4 different locations to get a feel for the island. The location and access were good, we had a scooter so could get most places easily.

The apartment was well set up, we had great access to the pool. The team at Soleil were nice and accomodating, communication was excellent. Our two boys, 9 and 11 loved the pool and spent a lot of time in there. The rates were very cost effective for a week-long stay, you do have to pay for your own power, but not much, i think ours was about baht for a week. Some things to take note of our personal experience and in no way a detraction of the place to bring mosquito repellent if you want to be outside in the evening, and also that the beds are 'very firm' the hardest of the 4 places we stayed.

Great to have our own pool which was used daily. Was a bit out of town but didn't bother us at all, 10min walk to the edge of town and further 10min walk to the beach. The food market was amazing and we loved the locals 'Samui Thai Kitchen' restaurant nearby, so cheap, great service and some of the best food we ate all holiday, they also do take outs if you want to laze by the pool.

Electricity is not included clearly stated in description and recommend asking for the rate or rough cost as it was more than we expected. We spent a month in the Lamai villa with our friends and unfortunately we have no good opinion about it! From our arrival everyone began to cough in the villa, I and my little girl got into the hospital, we got a virus.

We checked the climate and it was terrible and disgusting. We were cleaned at our own expense and no one was sick. Cleaning was often missed, we asked Loiq for nothing. The electricity bill was unreasonably high. In no way do I recommend staying as a child because the bathrooms are not hygienic. It's far from everything and they were not right with us! Villa is located near Lamai beach minutes walk , very nice and clean. Thank, Pierre for welcoming us, his responsiveness to our requests and as well his flexibility to check in and check out. Down the house there's also a muay thai boxing training place and our family enjoyed to have an introduction to this sport with our 2 kids!

Thanks Sophie to have hosted us. Had a really enjoyable few days at this villa. The hosts are great. Quick to answer any questions we had a helpful when it comes to local information and transportation to and from the villa. The 10 minute walk takes you past a few little local places to eat which have amazing Thai food for cheap prices. Well worth the money all round. The house big, clean and well equipped.

The place is located near to the Lamai Beach and surrounding is very quiet. Sophie and Loicq are very friendly and fast respond on our request. Overall we've enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back for a longer stay. This is a fabulous 3 bedroom villa. In the pictures it looks like a typical Thai house. We chose this place mostly because of the location, it's right in Lamai Beach main town area. You don't need transport to get around Lamai, it is a big Island though so i would still suggest you get transport to get around other areas.

We only needed a 2 bedroom but it is really great value. What I expected was a villa that was a little old and worse for wear. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival though. It's actually a very modern, clean and spacious villa. It looks like it may have had a recent renovation. The bathrooms in particular look very fresh, new and modern. There is no Air Con in the living area downstairs. If you open up all the windows and doors you get a good breeze most of the time. All the bedrooms do have air con.

We had trouble with directions getting there but it's actually super easy to find. I have edited a Hidden by Airbnb maps listing to make it easy for future guests and suggested it's future use to the Host. The only thing that is not modern is the standard outdoor Thai Kitchen. Most travelers are not there to cook so no problem there. The villa also has a nice small pool with a nightlight. It is actually deeper than most Thai pools which was a nice surprise. There were a couple of negatives with this rental. I mentioned above the trouble with directions, that's easy to solve.

We only had internet for 4 out 7 days. This was probably more of a big deal for us than most guests as we need internet for our Blog. This rental charges for electricity however we were not shown the meter on arrival. We had to take their word for it on the usage and the final bill. Guests should always be shown the meter on entering and upon leaving.

Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. The location is pretty hard to beat. The few issue we had are easily overcome. I would be super happy to stay at this place again and i would certainly recommend it to others. There was a welcome package of water, the kitchen had a minimum supplies of oil, salt, pepper and cleaning product. There is no washing machine but nearby the laundry cost was 30 thb per kilo, wash AND iron. He also gave us a great address for diving school.

He is very French friendly naturally, but he communicqtes well in English. Staying at Alex's house was great. The house is close to the beach, about 5 min walk, clean swimming pool and what is important quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. There is a laundry, cafes and shops near the house.

Alex is very hospitable and it was very kind of him to order a taxi for us, he always responded rapidly to our messages. The home is lovely and so conveniently located close to the downtown, restaurants, night market, and most importantly the beach! The street the home is on is quiet and lovely. We were a group of seven with four children and the pool was a life saver as it was quite warm during the days to be on the beach! Alex was a great host to correspond with and I highly recommend staying here in this villa!

Excellent service and beautiful place. Alexandre was an excellent host and the location is as described, spacious, clean and practical for all conveniences. This place is wonderful and Peter was a wonderful host too! The appartment is nicely decorated and very suitable for a family or a groupe of friends. I would recommend this place without a hint of hesitation!

Our stay at Peter's villa was amazing. The location is good, and the view fantastic. It's very quiet and cosy up there, but not more than some minutes from the streets. Peter was very helpful and nice chatting with. Hope to return one day. We have just returned from our holiday in Peters amazing bungalow. The photos don't do it justice it's just so beautiful. The view is spectacular and the position was great. Away from all the noise but only just over a kilometre away when you want to go somewhere more busy.

There are big enough kind words we can say about Peter from even before we got there till the day we left he was a perfect host. From arranging us a few basic things such as drinks, water etc that was there when we arrived, to helping us plan day trips, book taxis, we also hired one of his scooters for a very reasonable price. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Peter or his bungalow to anyone. We miss it already and can't wait to return. Thanks Pete for making our holiday so awesome!!! That villa is awesome. More then everything needed for a perfect vacation.

With a scooter there is no better place to stay in Samui. Close to everything but with the charm and the calm of the mountain. We had so much fun there. The pool is so clean and pretty and really useful with the great weather in Samui, even in July. We had less then a total of 3 hours of rain in 2 weeks.

I love cooking so that fully equipped kitchen was greatly appreciated.

Peter is the perfect host. Kind, helpful and respectful. We just loved him. I highly recommended it. See you soon I hope!!! Peter greeted us very warmly upon arrival, he took the the time to show us the the rooms and how to use the appliances. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. There was prompt response to any queries that we had. If you want tranquility this is the place, the view, the pool was a perfect fit for that. If you want loud noise and the hustle and bustle that comes with it, this place is not for you.

Peter also rents out scooters for a fee, which I recommend to use. With all the possibilties of accommodations in Koh Samui, I would stay again no questions asked Thanks Peter for a great experience that I will never forget Peter is an axceptional host; at the airport a taxi waited for us to take to the Website hidden by Airbnb is most beautiful of the phothos!!!! Peter was a great host. The apartment was clean, and exactly what we needed. There are a lot of dogs on the property who came to visit us, so that was awesome. If you aren't a dog person, just keep the gate closed. My family and I loved the company.

The house was simple, and comfortable. Very responsive and friendly host. Made good arrangements to and from the villa on the date of arrival and departure. Be prepared that the villa is a little out of the way of shops and restaurants. However, taxis are readily and easily obtainable. Will encourage future guests to personally witness the electrity meter upon arrival and departure. Overall, a villa that i can encourage future guests to consider if tranquility and quietness in the view of coconut trees and jungle is what they are looking for.

Beautiful house and swimming pool, The landlord is very friendly, The only question is too out of the way, The local taxi driver couldn't find it, must have to rent a car, Recommended motorcycle or suv. Very good place for family time. Tranquil place and not far from the beach. You should rent a car for convenience. We had a great time in Sophie's house. The area is calm and just 3 minutes away from Lamai by motorbike.

It was a great feeling to come back home from the beach in the evening and be almost in the middle of nowhere, but still with a few neighbours in the back of the house and a great view on hills coverered by palms towards the front. The communication with Sophie and her colleagues was fluid and always polite and helpful. I definitely recommend this house to anybody who likes being near to, but not in the middle of the hurly-burly. We loved staying at Sophie's place as a family.

The view is so relaxing and it's quiet and we were really able to rest and have fun together. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor area, with the pool, sala and sun beds, our kids had a lot of fun in the water. The ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and sitting area are great, they keep the rooms cooler and we didn't need the AC on all the time at night.

It was great to have a basic kitchen and laundry facilities - that makes being away as a family so much easier. Loic greeted us and looked after us well - there were a few things to sort out on the first day and he responded very quickly to our messages and helped us with everything. We loved the area that we were in on Koh Samui - the house is 5 minute drive from restaurants and shops and the main road round the island, but is in a quieter, relaxing area. It is an easy minutes to Lamai and to Silver Beach which we loved. We'd recommend either renting or bringing your own moped or car.

Really nice place to stay for a couple or group. My fiancee and I stayed here and it was great to have plenty of space to get work done and hang out, especially since it was the rainy season. Felt very cozy and homey, and amazingly bug-free for a tropical location! Good neighborhood, easy to walk for food, coffee, shopping, Thai massage, etc, but definitely recommend renting a motorbike to see the rest of the island.

Be sure to have cash as you'll be expected to pay for electricity when you check out. Alex is a great host and I would recommend his villa to anyone staying in Koh Samui. Lamai Baan Sabai is in a great location, within close walking distance to the busy parts of Lamai and the beach but in a quiet lane, perfect to escape from the noise and bustle of Lamai.

Some transport providers also struggle with the location, so it is a good idea to use Alex's transport for airport transfers, because they know exactly where the villa is. Each bedroom has effective air conditioning, but there is none in the common areas of the villa, like the kitchen, lounge and dining areas. Like all parts of Samui, there are mosquitos everywhere, so it is not possible to leave doors open. The toilets cannot accept toilet paper, you use a toilet hose instead.

This appears to be very common in Samui and also standard practice in many parts of the world but can be a little confronting for Western guests not used to it, particularly children. The villa is extremely clean and the kitchen well appointed. Food is plentiful and cheap in Lamai, so we ate out most of the time.

Lamai's streets can be challenging for walking but many places can be reached on the southern end of Lamai by walking on the beach. The nearby markets are worth a visit for fresh, cheap food. TV appears to be just local channels.

Great stay at Alex's excellent apartment centrally located in Lamai Beach. A stone's throw from the beach with restaurants and bars. Is located down a quiet side street. We especially enjoyed the pool! The house is clean. The kitchen has every thing you would need if you decide on cooking. Our you could go out to eat. They is three good size room one with on suit.

They is pool for relaxing in. Good choice of tv channels when not out. The house is on quite street at night so very quite. They is plenty of shops for eating and shopping. Good place to stay. Close to the beach and restaurants. It was clean and Alex was very helpful the whole time we were in his villa. Thanks for staying in your villa. The villas are magnificent! Great ocean view from your own private infinity pool. The space is exceptionally clean and well equipped for an all inclusive weekend spent indoors.

If you want to venture out, the hosts are ever so ready to offer you suggestions and their response time is impeccable. Everything is perfect especially the view! We will definitely come back. There is everything you need and the kitchen is well equipped. Just be inform that you need a car because if you are not use to drive motorbike this mountain is not easy to reach without experience. Best place to stay and thanks again to Tristan! Tristant was so nice!

We had an included transfer to the villa which worked perfect. The villa was just amazing, two big bedrooms with a bathroom each in the 1st floor. Also amazing view out of the terrace and private pool.

The host was very friendly and helped us organizing trips around the island as well as spa in the villa. We definitely recommend the massages on the private terrace! Location is one of the best on island, close to center street of Lamai district, also one of the best beaches in 15 min by walk! We took motorbikes for baht per day very useful. So beach and main street in 2 min from villa! I like a design of villas, I didn't see something better for this money! If I will go on Samui again I will choose this villa! Melanie's house was great! The pool and yard was perfect to relax during our stay.

The beds are comfortable which sometimes can be hard to find in Thailand. The staff were great and very helpful! I was staying with three generations of the family from 5 years to 70 years and it suited us all! The rooms are all King double with bath towels provided and twice weekly maid service. This was great for us but if you want daily service they can provide for an additional charge.

All the basics you need and located very near Lamai in the quiet beautiful hillside. I can't rate Pang on reception enough! She was so helpful and made our stay. For value for money, cleanliness, location, facilities we thought it was the best Melanie's villa was great. It was very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Checking in was easy as we arranged a pick up from the airport and we had no problems while we stayed. Would highly recommend staying in the villa to anyone travelling to Koh Samui. You will have to add coat of water and electricity , beside you will need transportation to center and beach.

This villa is the same as the pics. The place is clean, beautiful and quiet. The location is great, only takes 3 minutes to the main street if u ride a bike. You can order foods by calling the service center, the price is fair and taste really nice. And if you need to rent a bike or car, just contact the service center, they will help you done it in a short time bike: Though we have to check out on 5: This is a really nice place to stay, especially at this price, we enjoyed 3 awesome here.

If I plan going to ko samui again, I'll definitely choose here. We had a great time at this accommodation. Christophe was always easy to reach and helpful. It was clean, close to nice beaches and restaurants.

We would love to come there again. Awesome, it was a perfect stay. The Location is quite, chaweng shopping, Party etc. The owner lives only a few Meters ahead, but you dont see hin until you need him. We will come again! Flyers are in the Villa. No Problems, good price. New villa, with everything you need! We on samui for the fifth time, but we fell in love with this place! Our stay was excellent, Chris and his wife was at the villa to welcome us.

The villa and private pool was spacious and clean, amenities provided were just nice. Chris was helpful to share his local contacts for the car rental which was great as a car was much needed to drive out from the villa to the main roads. Overall, a great and quiet location to unwind and relax! We want to thank the host that we where able to stay in his villa.

Kiran and Christian are amazing host. The house is amazing , we travel with group of 7 and all of us enjoyed our stayed in koh samui! We will miss you guys for sure. Kiran was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make my stay extremely memorable!! His villa was amazing, the kitchen fully stoked, and he even included free pickup and drop off to wherever on the island!

Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit Samui! The location, the amenities and the design of this Villa were the three things that stood out the most for us during our stay. Perched on a hill, the villa offers the most fantastic views from wherever you are - the poolside, your bedroom or even the kitchen and living area. It's open and spacious, and really exudes that relaxed holiday feeling.

The Villa is stocked with everything you could possibly want. There's a fully stocked bar and fridge with all the beer, wine and spirits you need, and then some, and it's replenished on a daily basis so you're sure never to run out. The open air golden jeep was one of the best features of the villa - we used it all the time to go to and from the beach and the town centre.

Gao, the housekeeper, was very helpful and made sure we were never wanting. She organised massages for us in the villa itself and even did some laundry for us! The Villa is luxurious, clean and the ideal place to stay with your family or friends in Samui. Came here with 5 of my mates, and without doubt the best place i have ever stayed in! View Amazing, bike and jeep are perfect for getting around, not to mention the free bar and pool which means it's impossible for you not to enjoy yourself. Pictures don't do the villa justice, you get blown away when being taken around, with all the rooms very comfortable and so many little gadgets all over the property.

Kiran our host was brilliant, sorted everything out for us, when needed any time of day for any situation. Just book this place already! The villa made our stay in Koh Samui fabulous. I have never had a service like this before which made our group feeling like we are at home. The villa has a fantastic ocean view and the rooms are cleaned every day by very friendly stuff. My favourite spot there was the charming pool where you just can relax and listen to the exotic birds.

Thank you very much for offering snacks and drinks from the bar that made our stay unforgettable. I will definitely return one day. Lamai Beach itself is about half the length of Chaweng Beach, What was she doing ringing me at this hour? Although Chaweng Beach has thesoftest sandand arguably thebest view, Lamaiisaclose second.
