By default, it sorts by the number, or alphabetically if there is no number. If you want to force a particular order, use the character to divide the number and the descriptor. So, " 0 prequel " sorts by 0 under the label "prequel. Series was designed to cover groups of books generally understood as such see Wikipedia: Like many concepts in the book world, "series" is a somewhat fluid and contested notion.
A good rule of thumb is that series have a conventional name and are intentional creations , on the part of the author or publisher. For now, avoid forcing the issue with mere "lists" of works possessing an arbitrary shared characteristic, such as relating to a particular place. Avoid series that cross authors, unless the authors were or became aware of the series identification eg. Also avoid publisher series, unless the publisher has a true monopoly over the "works" in question.

When I saw this one was available for review, I sprung at the opportunity. I had gotten the ecopy from amazon earlier this year, so I already knew I was interested in it. The narrator, Mikael Naramore, was perhaps one of the best I've heard in a while. He has a way of giving everyone their own voice, to the point that I'd likely know who he was portraying even if it didn't state so in the story. Although there is one character that makes me think she's a drag queen every time she talks, which makes me giggle - because I'm so mature.
It really didn't distract me from what was going on, I just wanted to point it out. There's a lot going on here, so much that I had a bit of difficulty keeping up at times. Mostly it was only for a few moments, and I quickly caught back up. Even in the other times, it would pull me back in almost immediately and everything was good again.
I do really enjoy the magic element involved in Rune Gate.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Fantasy books, but this one stood out for me. Wicca was a great influence and I found that fascinating. Throw in multiple worlds, a murder mystery, one hell of a back story, and this was a pretty fantastic story. I was so engrossed into the audio book. That I kept making that shhhhhhhhhhhh! LOL It starts out with Alex a witch who is called in the middle of the night to help with a crime scene. With her psychic ability she can see the crime though the victims point of view. No matter how hard it is on her, she is determined to help as much as she can to catch the killer.
Alex is sure she has seen this horrific crime before. Sheriff Thomas Edwards cares for Alex so he continues to try to keep her out but her determination continues. He is more than aware that she has the ability to read others thoughts and is very sensitive to touch. So he tries his best to keep her out of the investigation.
In an attempt to protect her. Thanks to fate she meets Douglas. Douglas is from another time and world. Douglas is trapped in our world without help from Alex.
He helps her understand her psychic talent a little better. He also agrees to help her with the murder mystery. He believes that he knows the killer and is more than willing to help catch one of his enemies. Douglas is hoping that by helping Alex he will be also helping himself to return to his world. This is the 3rd audio book I have listened to by Mikael Naramore. I was so impressed with all the different voices he had to use for the "Rune Gate" book 1.
From the Sheriff sounding a little country, Douglas came across as a huge burly handsome Irish man. I could really picture the character as the narrator tells us the story. The author has a talent for keeping us more and more interested in the story line. Until we don't want the book to end and are thankful there is a book 2 Chosen. See all reviews.
