Kathryn Gossow writer, gardener, book lover. So many books, so little time. StoryPlanet German Blog German learning tips in different contexts. You will be surprised time and time again. There's a lot going on in this book, but the author kept it together so you didn't get over-whelmed.

The suspense will you on the edge of your chair. Not only was there suspense but lots and lots of romance. This was not only a murder mystery but a love story. I thought the author merged the two quite well. I just don;'t have enough good things to say about this book. Words just can;'t convey how good it is.

I would recommend this book to everyone.

Just beware, it will keep you guessing and you may not be able to put the book down. What a surprise ending. Can you discover who killed Miranda? McCabe for this unbiased review. Set in the 70s I loved the world the author created as well as the characters in this whodunit with many twists. The number of intriguing characters rather than people just in the story for window dressing made this an outstanding read. What I loved about reading this book was the way the author developed our relationship with Charlie, our protagonist.

By revealing his flaws and weaknesses he makes Charlie very likeable and because I came to care about him I found the book intriguing. I hope very much to read the sequel due out next year. The setting is early s, on the tail end of the Vietnam War, in a world rife with radicals and prejudice. McCabe takes us to a small town where neighbors know too much of each other's business and are quick to judge. It's here that we meet Charlie Caldwell, a flawed hero I instantly fell in love with. This book takes readers on a journey of self-discovery, mystery, romance, and drama. There are unexpected twists that kept me guessing throughout. The ch There is so much to love about this book. The characters and setting felt so real, it was like I was living the story along with them.

I highly recommend this book to everyone looking to get lost in a great story.
