Laramie Briscoe is the rising star of biker romance! Jagger, oh my gawd!!! Even reading his name transports me to another place. The sexual tension between Bianca and Jagger was off the charts. I keep repeating myself, but Laramie Briscoe excels at the relationship aspect of her romances, which, in my opinion, is the most important part of a story.

Her couples seem destined to be together. They are willing to overcome any obstacles and fight for the one they love. Bianca is working towards becoming a teacher and she want to concentrate fully on her goal. Very quickly, she realized that Jagger is not a distraction but he is her support system. He makes her a better person and would never keep her from pursuing her dreams. Jagger is completely devoted and even though there a several hurdles on the road to their happily ever after, Bianca and Jagger are committed to be together, and more importantly, to be there for each other.

Every book this author writes is a winner for me. With Losing Control I would have loved to get to know the club and the other members a bit better. I feel like the change the club went through in Out Of Darkness was slightly lost, but I hope it will be part of the next book. I'm not sure how the author seen him but he is my Jax Teller!! I flipped thru page after page only wishing that Jax would break out in song while watching this weeks SOA!! Bianca and Jagger was a story that was sweet and my favorite part, something you don't get too often was a honest story about love and faith.

After years away from it, Jagger found his faith again. That was a refreshing storyline. Especially since I tend to read only erotica!! Can't wait for Laynes story!!! Oct 26, Anna rated it it was amazing. This is becoming my fave MC for sure. I can't get enough of this bad ass group and the fun ladies. I think Briscoe is amazing! I know when I start one of these I won't put it down until I'm done. Jagger was amazing in this book.

The Heaven Hill Fire of '96 - Know Your Distillery

Damaged, but not too much and the way Bianca healed him and how he melted her defenses, it was such a great story! Nov 14, Katrina Todd rated it really liked it. I read this, I really enjoyed it. There wasn't as much "drama" as the other two, but I really liked it.

I'm actually more excited for the next one then anything Nov 02, Sue rated it it was amazing. I absolutely love the quick flow and ease with which Laramie Briscoe tells a story Not bad ass biker criminals who break laws as well as bones but more just family men and women who live their lives on their " Sometimes being out of control brought you to the most beautiful place ever" Not bad ass biker criminals who break laws as well as bones but more just family men and women who live their lives on their own terms and love and support each other as much as anyone else.

Don't get me wrong Now bring on Layne and Jessica! Apr 21, TheDollyMama65 rated it really liked it. Again, the author keeps getting better as she further develops the characters and the MC this series is based upon. Loved Bianca and Jagger-both are humble and spunky giving this book just enough spice not to ruin the romance!

The villains are totally distasteful and fun to hate! All in all a great read. Did want to make a comment about another review that indicated that the portrayal of this MC and the Bikers was too touchy feely, as well as unrealistic. Briscoe's prerogative as to how she weaves her story and develops her characters, and frankly, I can relate to this and enjoy this more, because of that.

I can also say I have been around a local MC that is more charity based and it is full of dudes just like Liam, Tyler, Jagger, and Layne. So bravo, keep bringing this fiction to me, it goes well with my romance book addiction! Oct 31, Lindsay rated it it was amazing Shelves: I think what surprised me the most is how normal Bianca seemed. She is perhaps the most relatable character that Laramie has yet written.

In spite of her work in a strip joint, she and Jagger almost seem like opposites, and you have to wonder if they will ever be able to overcome their differences. And as a local, I love seeing our not-so-little town fictionalized. I edited this book. Apr 19, Amber rated it it was amazing Shelves: I love this series I am kind of sad that I am about to start book four in the series and then I will have to wait for months before book five comes out Nov 01, Traci Lamothe rated it it was amazing Shelves: But then again I did like the first two.

Well written and the characters work well within the book. Jagger and Bianca's story is one that will make you laugh, make you mad and then make u cry. Its also nice to see how Meredith and Tyler are getting along and Liam and Denise. We also get to meet some of the other members of the club. Now to wait till early for the 4th book.

From what i read of the short snip of the book it is going to be good. Nov 11, Kaz rated it liked it. I only gave this three stars. I liked the story and have read the other two books but there just seemed to be something missing with the stories. I think it just wasn't gritty enough, like the other MC books I have read. The MC characters just seem too nice and are not down and dirty bikies. I didn't finish the first book due to losing interest in it and read the second one, which was well written but MC lifestyle was just not that convincing. Feb 23, Biate rated it liked it.

Halfway through I was bored and all I could think was can I just get this over with so I can move on to book 4. I was losing control and being sucked in. The book really ended on a high note. I'm very excited about the next installment. Nov 29, Genney Blass rated it really liked it Shelves: Jagger and Bianca, what a great story.

Loved the way the author add all the characters from book 1 and 2 to this one. How they belong to each other, what turmoil had to conquer to continue there love and happiness. Love the therapist they had working with them. Bravo to the author, keep them coming. Oct 24, Denise rated it it was amazing.

Jun 23, Reflections of a Book Geek rated it really liked it Shelves: Bianca was a little harder for me, there were times I really liked her character and then there were times I could hardly stand her. For the most part she was relatable and likeable but there were definitely a few times she came across as a total b! This story definitely held my i 4 Stars I found this book just as good as the second book in this series. This story definitely held my interest throughout, I couldn't put it down. I have to admit I wasn't sure if I was going to keep reading this series after the first book but I'm so glad I did.

I can't wait for Layne's story.

Losing Control (Heaven Hill, #3) by Laramie Briscoe

Oct 12, Melody rated it liked it Shelves: I really like Jagger and how he was a total bone head when it came to learning how to be in a relationship. Bianca annoyed me a bit but got better. Bianca is my kind of girl I love the fact that she's putting herself through school and she's about to realise her dream. Jagger's first meeting with Bianca is hilarious but he's done for and pursues her.

Mar 28, Brandi rated it liked it. Kinda losing interest in this series I liked Jagger but did not care much for Bianca. She was stubborn and not in a cute, heroine-nish type of way , she made some irritating decisions which left me shaking my head Why didn't she tell Jagger about that darn white van? Jagger was cute, sweet and very likeable. He may have shown his age a bit at times but everything he did, he did with the best intentions.

He wore his heart on his sleeve, making Bianca a very lucky girl. Meredith her Kinda losing interest in this series Meredith heroine from the previous book annoyed the heck out of me in this one. I mean, I understand why she might be jealous of Denise but enough is enough. Grow up and quit staying away from her, your supposed to be BFFs. Be a friend and just keep getting busy with that hot man of yours because your time to be a parent will come! I think I'm gonna put this series on hold for now.

I already have book four on my kindle but I'm in no hurry to get to it. Sep 15, Angee Tucker rated it it was amazing. Love Laramie Briscoe books, read herbiker series so far. Hard hitting without a raunchy flavor added, easy, fun reads! Jun 24, Books Laid Bare rated it really liked it. I think the whole biker and rocker thing conflicted me. I wanted him to be one thing or the other.

But when he finally bites the bullet, I was delighted that she said yes, I wanted them to at least give it a go. The book had a lot going on, it had an element of mystery and a good helping of action and mystery.

Can't wait for some more! That sexy body does not hurt one bit. I have enjoyed read about Jagger and found him be a much deeper man that I would have ever thought. With an upbringing that was not of an everyday child, the love from the family within the Heaven Hill MC was all he knew.

      Bianca has a dream.

Funny, romantic and flirtatious, as Jagger and Bianca keep each other on their toes, they gain weight in your heart! Losing Control continues to show the growth that Ms.

Briscoe has made as an author. Her talent for character writing is shining through. Each one has their good and bad. Where they share similarities in personality each one is very equine.
