Andy immediately restored my confidence through his encouragement and support.
getting the interview
His tactics put me on the right track to land my new job. I started exactly 15 days after I finished the boot camp! The boot camp covers every single detail you need to know and Andy's coaching is unbelievable. I didn't think it was possible to make job searching fun. Somehow, he did it. I start my new job in a few weeks!
There's no question it did. Andy's tactics are universally great. I got 3 job offers within a few weeks of finishing the program and I'm already working at my new job! I took him up on his generosity and I'm so glad I did. I couldn't believe the value of the boot camp compared to other coaching I purchased. I just finished the boot camp, but the results so far have been amazing. I've gotten interviews with 3 companies when before I was getting zero.
Just enroll and take comfort in knowing you'll get the job you want. I joined the milewalk Academy with the resume program and then upgraded to the boot camp. Both programs have been amazing and you get everything you need to be successful. I just landed a new job and there's no doubt it's because of this course. I now have all the tools I need to be successful. One of the most surprising benefits is the community of the entire milewalk Academy. You never feel alone in your search! You'll have plenty of time to access the entire program and review it.
If you do not feel the content will help you achieve the results you desire, you can contact me at support at milewalk. I believe people are genuine and will treat you that way. I'll take you at your word. Have you already invested in yourself with milewalk Academy training products and services? If you want my new Job Search Boot Camp program, send an email to support at milewalk.
You can pay the difference between whatever you've already invested and the enrollment option of your choice! I realize people sometimes become reluctant to enroll because they've been disappointed by another trainer. It's so important to me that you're successful in your job search, I've created a special offer for people in this situation. I'll offer you a "refund" a credit for what you've spent! If you're interested in learning about this option, email me at support at milewalk. You can watch the entire program at your leisure.
The LIVE sessions are recorded and stored in your training portal for your convenience. A few hours to invest in something so critical will pay in the long run.
Free content is wonderful, but you have a few issues trying to go it alone with the free content. First, most free content includes WHAT you can or should do. There is a comments section where you can access me, my team, and other students. In Session 2, I teach you exactly how to prepare an effective resume and provide template text quasi fill-in-the blank style and samples. You receive a resume WORD template with headings and placeholder text. You fill it in and send it to me.
SPECIAL PRICING THROUGH TUESDAY!
I review it in extreme detail, section by section, word by word literally. You get the resume for your review. Make the updates based on my suggestions i. I felt it was extremely important to interact directly with the students to ensure they realized their full growth potential. Lastly, I realize not everyone will be able to make the scheduled times, so I'll record the coaching webcasts so students can watch or re-watch them at their convenience.

Job Search Boot Camps
Let me help you! Strategy Dialed in approach with an end-to-end framework that starts with a self-awareness process that drives all the other stages of your search. Structure Follow the specific steps from beginning to end and have all the templates, tools, and other materials so you can easily access whatever you need whenever you need it. Support One of the most overlooked aspects, the program comes with live LIFETIME support, ongoing coaching, and a community filled with like-minded professionals who are more than happy to share experiences, insight, and encouragement.
Then your plans for next week. Humans are social animals. Exploit your instinct to live up to what you said you would do by saying what you will do to people you like. Bonus if they are going through the same thing at the same time. For whatever reason, people still print out resumes and bring it to your interview and then stare at it instead of talking to you like a normal human being. I keep informed about what senior devs think about when they talk amongst themselves, and all I have to do is parrot them. Twitter is not the only dev community - Reactiflux is on Discord, Spectrum.
Then there are smaller newbie-friendly communities like dev. I know career services people disagree with me but hey this is just me. Friends LOVE helping their friends get jobs! Especially if drinks are on you time split while on the job hunt Maximum I found I could handle 4 hours of algorithms a day, usually AlgoExpert and Leetcode help. Rant against it all you like.
This means you can get by just being able to outline the general approach. I was expected to rattle off the Big O of sorting algos cold. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
The job search
Keep juggling those balls. Subscribe to Pluralsight free 3month trial , Frontend masters, egghead. Scan through Cracking the Coding Interview. Watch all the things. These things are worth thousands and are all free on youtube. Focus in particular on raw javascript, aka everything that Kyle Simpson teaches all available on frontend masters, or you can read his free YDKJS book but i prefer the video. Even if you think you already know some stuff, LOOK for the things that you skimmed over or only sorta kinda know.
I didnt focus on it and probably did badly on all of them. Podcasts like Software Engineering Daily and some Youtube channels help to explain them how real companies do it but absorbing all that info is hit and miss because it is so unstructured. I did try to though. Set a reasonable deadline 1 week or 1 month and then just build your idea as best as you can by that deadline. Resist the urge to perfect it.
Just get it to launch, then get feedback. Build fun stuff, or explorations, or clones. Try max big new libraries each time to see how you like them. This can include contributing to open source. The interview technical interviews see above re: People are somehow always impressed by that because a lot of people dont do that in an interview setting. I specifically got an offer because I instinctively chose to do TDD while trying to understand the question wasnt a conscious decision.
JS is a fast moving field.
