My favorites would be the drinks: Trail mix and that category would be excellent for healthier choice of snack.

I might only use a couple - I don't like giving gifts which assume the recipient has too much on hand and some of these recipes require almost as many ingredients again to make up but there's a really nice variety here.

I really enjoyed reading and I'm going to try some of the recipes for gift giving this holiday season. This book was easy reading and explained in detail. The online recipe cards and stickers were definitely a plus. This is a must for the creative cook.

It drove me crazy to see the titles spread out like that. Maybe it appears differently on different device and it certainly wasn't something to lower the stars over, as the content was very good. What's even better is most of them use ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen already. I've been cooking long enough to know when reading a recipe, what the result will be like and this book is full of cooking gems. Read it and eat. I cannot wait to make these!!!! I always love to get good cookbooks and I wasn't disappointed here.
With the holidays upon us and all the kids grown and gone, I can experiment with new recipes for old favorites. First on the list will be the crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms. Even my carnivore husband will eat those. The scallops wrapped in bacon will definitely keep my youngest happy and pigs in a blanket are an all-time favorite.
I, however, plan to make a giant pot of carrot sweet potato soup and dive in. You will love them all!
I found this cookbook a delight to read. It offers so many mouthwatering sounding holiday recipes. The best part is they are uncomplicated, easy to follow instructions and the photographs are simply stunning.

This book gives me many great ideas because this year I am planning to bake some goodies as gifts for friends and family. What a great way to share homemade goods with your loved ones. You will find plenty of gorgeous photos depicting the recipes in the Holiday Recipes: Cookster has included recipes such as: Just what I needed before the holidays. I needed some new ideas and this book provides them in abundance. The photographs are beautiful and hopefully my execution of them will turn out equally delectable. The book is also thorough in that it covers every phase of a holiday meal -- from appetizers to desserts.
I feel I may have gained a few pounds just reading the book. A delicious addition to my cookbook collection! So many of the appetizers are ones we serve for a feast, glad to see they make the cut-they are easy to make and very quick.
