As a grandma, I loved this book. It and its sequel are very cute stories, with lots of action and adventure and excitement! Just right for boys who want to read a chapter book! The story reminds me of a fairytale and is so very well written that I felt a part of everything that happened.

He brings out the wonderful Spirit of Elephant. Lyall inspired me to write 'The Elephant Buttons' which is more about my grandmother than the elephants. Search for a book to add a reference.
