My entire series deals with God and humanity. He is an interwoven theme in the books, more so towards the end in Vol 7 and 8, but nonetheless, God is a very important character in my series. With that said, if you do not feel comfortable reading about my version of Him, please do not read my series. Good versus evil is a major play between some of my characters therefore, God has to be involved.
Beyond the Blue, Part 1
Secondly, My books are listed as dark fantasy, but I've also listed them in the LGBT section because there is both straight and gay sex in my series. Book 1 and 2, not so much, but it does heat up as the series goes along, however this series is NOT gay or straight erotica. And speaking of sex, my main characters start out as teenagers, and yes, they are placed in adult situations.
They grow up in this series, which is why the first two books are limited in terms of the sexual content. If this makes you uncomfortable, please do not read the series. Lastly, there is bondage, rape, sexual violence, regular violence, profanity, and dark themes in this series. You may not see much in Volume 1, but trust me, it is dark.
Please do not read this series if any of that offends you. I hope you all enjoy my series. It does not preach Christianity.
I am not a Christian in that sense of the word. I do believe in God and feel very comfortable writing about Him. Take care and happy reading, Josephine Dillon Bio: The story for The Blue Series was first created in my head as a teenager growing up in Oceanside, California during the mid-eighties. After graduating from SDSU as a registered nurse, I married, had two children, and raised a family after relocating to Boise, Idaho where I currently reside.
After so many years had passed, one day I decided to write a single page of the story. It then turned into a novel. Not realizing the story was so big, I wrote a second Volume.
Forced to split Volume 2 into two parts due to its size, I continued to write Volumes 3 and 4 during the years through , but the story still wasn't finished. After taking a break, I wrote Volumes 5 through 8 in the last two years, completing the series in late Are you an author?

To be truthful I read this a long time ago and so if I say what I think I might be saying things that haven't even happened yet: Book 2 of Under the Blue series is yet another awesome read.
It takes such tough sensitive issues and discussed the turmoils people deal with on a real level. The author is bold and daring to combine such issues and address what each individual battles with. Combing this and the unique characters with the most complex plot brings you one hell of a story. The details of the characters and surroundings give you a sense of belonging and makes you feel as though you are their within the story.

Again Book 2 of Under the Blue series is yet another awesome read. Again Ms,Dillon's writing us beautifully written and the flow is excellent. The characters and the levels with in evolve with such rich imagination that you have to keep reading. Again you must keep an open mind reading this series because it addresses sensitive issues. I was happy be back at Ocean Side at times but find myself longing to see what levels of hell had in store for me to explore.

All the different characters are freaking awesome each one has such a uniqueness about it that not one has a similarity about them. I found that intriguing to say the least. I've even dreamt about this book especially David. Way to go Ms. Dillon for another awesome read! It was a big departure from my regular type of books I read but I liked well enough that I've read the whole series.
I'm going to comment about the series as a whole. I found the idea of the "good" angels being so sneaky and quick to follow their own agenda's and not caring about their loyalty to God much more bothersome. Again, all that said, it was we It was a big departure from my regular type of books I read but I liked well enough that I've read the whole series.
Again, all that said, it was well enough written, the characters brought to life enough to involve me in their futures, that I did want to keep reading just to see what would happen and to cheer on Dillon and hope he could save his brother David. Held me the whole way through. Though I may not have liked many of the turns that the plot took and at times I was frustrated with how some of his characters develop and or disappear, I can't wait to I read the next one, though I need a bit of light entertainment in between.
Still think a bit on the bottle half empty view of humanity side. Can't understand the ending especially with another 7 books to go. Well I have not tracked my reading very well lately and I have read the first two of this Dillion series in the wrong order. So far they are good and I will continue to read them as the summer travels allow. I hesitated to give it five stars as at times I feel like it gets bogged down in too much detail and not enough substance. I'll see how the next book reads.
