Aug 25, Marsha rated it really liked it. Of all of the Zombie Games books, "Dead Endz" was more challenging for me to read. The reason is the subject matter at times was a little disturbing I won't say what but I guess in retrospect, it could have been worse. The story begins with Cassie's mom discovering the location of her daughter Allie and escaping from the hospital with her. Bryce has suffered a concussion and has lost some of his memory.
He is alone but locates a motorcycle to get around on. Meanwhile, the girls have been gettin Of all of the Zombie Games books, "Dead Endz" was more challenging for me to read. Meanwhile, the girls have been getting kidnapped. If you are like me, this bothered me because of the repetition from the previous book. However, this time they are being held by a group of drug dealers who has a sporting event in mind. No, I will not tell you what. Soon Bryce's memory is restored, he realizes that the hotel he has been hiding out in has other guest and they certainly aren't the friendly type.
Soon the gang find themselves in a situation that no one could ever have imagined. It seems zombies aren't the only monsters lurking out there and some of our favorite characters just might not make it. This installment was good but a couple of things bothered me. First and foremost, the sporting event.

Next, I truly did not like how Middleton left us hanging as to who killed two of our favorite characters. All she wrote was "Two Weeks Later Is that all you are giving us? Oh well, maybe in the next book she will adequately address it. Lastly, I cannot believe what the characters are doing at the end of this book. It is just plain "idiotic. There is plenty of action, gore, and evilness.
It just was not my favorite in the series. Apr 15, M. Lewis rated it liked it.

This one was really tough for me. I LOVE this series, despite lack of editing, misuse of commas, etc. I usually just ignore most of that but it seems to have gotten worse with each book, as if the author was in a hurry to publish maybe? It got to a point where it was really distracting. I want to rate this book in two "halves," so to speak. I almost gave up on it altogether. Books 1 and 2 in the series were written 1st pe This one was really tough for me. Books 1 and 2 in the series were written 1st person POV.
We saw the world through Cassie's eyes, and if she was separated from the rest of her group we were told very little about what was going on with the others.
Zombie Games (Books ) by Kristen Middleton
Book 3, though, opens in a totally different writing style. We're introduced to a few new characters. So, I give the first half 2 stars I've started reading book 4. A bit crushed to see it's starting out much like book 3 did Maybe I'm just old Jan 06, Laurie Franco rated it it was amazing. Can NOT believe I forgot to review this book I read it months ago!
Zombie Games
Book three picks up around where book 2, Running Wild, left off. As usual I plowed right through this book and loved every page! The actual "Zombie Games" was crazy and I loved how Cassie kicked zombie butt and the only downer was who didn't come out of the book alive no spoilers here! But the deaths of characters I've grown to love was a definite downer Ever since I first started a Kristen Middleton book, I've fallen in love with each of them, and she sets the bar a little higher with everyone she puts out!
This is a must read series, and if you like vampire books, she has another awesome series out as well. Middleton is a definite triple threat with the three amazing series, and I can't wait to read more of her books in the years to come. Hopefully starting with book two of Witches of Bayport, hint hint!! Feb 23, Jesse rated it it was amazing. It's all good the seventeen year old girl who's name is Cassie. Is still trying to find her family, and friends. On the way she makes new friends that will help her reach her family. Once again she also runs in to more trouble, the zombies are getting even smarter.
Will Cassie and her friends and family get reunited once again. Check out the book to find out! Okay I am like shocked, the third series of zombie games is even better than the second and the first. I'm like amazed I like that how it wa It's all good the seventeen year old girl who's name is Cassie. I'm like amazed I like that how it was in different places, and different times of the day even more in the dark.
Loved it how it how it seemed that it was the end, then someone, or something comes and rescues she or he. It really entertained me and got my attention. Oct 31, Conny rated it really liked it Shelves: I was a First Read Winner of this book and I enjoyed reading it. It had characters that you cared about, witty dialog and plenty of action, one could say never a dull moment.
The only negative thing I have to say about it is that if you have not read the previous 2 books you will feel a bit lost. I could not connect as much with the characters as I wanted because I felt some vital information about them was missing. So I definitely recommend read the other books first, I know I will and lets kick some zombie butt. Jul 06, Joline Novy rated it it was amazing. If you've read the other 2, don't hesitate to read book 3! You won't be disappointed. Cassie and her friends and family are back for some more adventures and zombie killing.
Middleton has a way of writing a story that moves so quickly, you're done before you know it. I'm so glad I stumbled across this series! Aug 10, She rated it it was ok Shelves: Rushed, lack of emotion and confusing as hell. The author changed her writing style and failed. Weren't developed as much as I would like them to.
Aug 23, Gene Bennett rated it liked it. I really enjoyed the first book. The second and third books were Her mother runs an in home daycare which isn't bad just minus all the germs that come along with the children. We also see that she is into martial arts which is pr http: We also see that she is into martial arts which is pretty neat and learning all the moves she needs to will help her I think in the world that she gets thrown into before too long.

When the zombie world comes to her front door Cassandra has no problems kicking butt, saving people while worrying about her own family and having a crush on Bryce the martial art instructor who loves females attention. After the zombies have come about via a vaccine we get to see exactly how Cassandra handles herself in situations that others would probably just run away.
The author has done a great job with not only the characters but the world around them as well. Running Wild I found more humor in this second book than I ever thought I would. I love zombie stories that have that humor within them only because you need a good laugh during the times of death and sadness. Cassandra with the help of her friends has survived multiple interactions with zombies, she has learned were her mother and sister are and she is determined with her dad to get to them.
We also see that the zombies are advancing in terms of how they act and it just makes you wonder how much more can they become evolved. While in the mist of trying to get to Atlanta Cassandra not only battles her feelings for Bryce but also has to deal with the fact that Eve seems to have her eyes on him. While Austin has his eyes on her in more than one way. Kristie is a hoot and the way she interacts with her daughter is just too much laughter there.
Then we get to meet Henry who is an old goat whose favorite saying is "do you like horses? Can't wait to see what book three will bring me. Dead Endz So we start off the story with a little short story of how Henry and Mary left the nursing home as if you read in Running Wild Cassie meets them both when she rammed into the back of Henry's car. In Dead Endz I really loved how the author gave us the other characters point of view.
We go with Paige, John Doe which wasn't too hard to figure out who he was , to Kristie. Finally we do get Cassie's p. Hopefully Cassie will get to see her mom and sister as that is the whole reason she has gone to Atlanta with her friends and dad. We also get a taste of how sick other humans have become especially one character named Tony who comes up with the Zombie game it is the undead verses the humans and that is not good. We also get to learn a bit more on how Cassie seemed to survive her attack.
And FINALLY we get to see if Cassie and Bryce will react on their feelings for each other, because ever since they met you can tell there has been lust and finally love blooming between the two. I can not wait to read book four to see what else is going to happen. Road Kill Wow in this one there is an awesome twist that comes into play, which threw me for a loop, and it has me wondering where is this going to go now.
Cassie along with Nora on a mission to go and see if other family members along with Nora's father is alive but it won't be any easy trip. Especially not once everyone else starts to go after them to bring them back. Allie, Kylie and Luke find themselves in certain situations and actually end up meeting someone who they believe will help them.
Will they find what they are looking for or will it be a wasted trip? Half way through we meet two new characters who end up being a whole lot more than just normal people there is something different about them. Especially once they start wanting the babies if there are any alive brought to them. This is where that twist comes into play and you wonder where is this book going to go now.
It seems that this battle will be against Good and Evil, and with so many undead it makes you wonder who will hopefully win, which we hope Good holds out. End Zone Wow this is the last story within this book and I will say it is a happy ending. One that I am so glad for as all the characters have gone through so much and have lost so much that sometimes a happy ending is the best thing.
We go through different p. Of course there is plenty of action with fighting zombies but they also have to help stop the evil from hurting everyone else. There is talk of God and Satan though it is not a religious story it is implied in the story line. Not everyone is a full believer that the "end of days" is upon them but they can't deny that something sinister is happening.
Towards the end of the book we learn who exactly is the "chosen one" and that is was always his destiny to get rid of evil. I really enjoyed this series of books, not only was the story line amazing. It was clean, funny at times and plenty of action. The characters were simply amazing at how they handled situations was great. This is a zombie series that I highly recommend.
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Book - awesomely amazing. Also, why didn't Cassie or her Dad think to check on the grandparents before they left for Atlanta? If Cassie was so worried about them, why didn't she check on them? Book - what's with all the religious stuff?
See a Problem?
I don't recall anything in the first 3 books, so why are the characters so obsessed with it now? Sep 24, Barbara S. Sturdivant rated it it was amazing. I really enjoy reading most zombie books.
