L'EcoMusee des MemoiRes at Puisserguier Housed in part of the old village school, it was founded in by a group of volunteers. A fascinating look back at village life in Puisserguier. Every time I go, I notice something that I missed the time before. This time, I discovered the 'Guide Visite', with explanations of all the exhibitions Enjoyed the stunning view from the crest looking down onto the lac de Salagou, picked our way down to the village of Liausson as the afternoon was drawing in A kindly soul drove us back.
As you all might know, even in the winter, the South of France is a great destination!
Just as in the summer months, there are a lot of events and festivals to enjoy. From the end of November until right after Christmas, the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle transforms into a winter wonderland. A little bit further down into the square, there is a huge illuminated globe. This Christmas landmark lets everyone know that Christmas has finally arrived in town. Yep, if you look closely, you will see a man with his trousers around his knees producing a number 2. This man, called Caganer, is part of the Catalan tradition and is, in fact, fertilising the earth.
There were so many holiday events this past weekend but we decided to check out the Etsy Holiday event Chateau Flaugergues in Montpellier. The gardens were free to visit and it was a nice little event. Even bought a bottle of wine to go with our food truck burger.

Skip this step on Android. A pop-out menu will appear. This option is at the bottom of the pop-out menu. Click Choose what to clear. It's below the "Clear browsing data" heading.
