Perhaps Shangri-La are relying too much on their reputation but atlas there are other hotels out there which are more responsive to their guests needs.

Would love to come back any day any time. Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Breakfast buffet was incredible. The best hotel I've stayed in. You can't go wrong staying here. We had a couple of nights here whilst passing through and had an executive room with balcony overlooking the river.
