Hi there, the ch3 at the beginning of the row counts as the first st of the row, so you would count and follow instructions starting with the next stitch. I know you believe in your pattern as written. However row one says to chain 6.

The next instruction says to to the same 2 times and then says to repeat one more time. That equals 4 chain spaces. Your saying there should be 3 chain spaces and that is what the picture shows. There is a discrepancy here. I also described another issue with the instructions as a reply to another post. If you could please read it and address both I would really be thankful. This other person had the same problem so it make me doubt that I am incorrect. I hope you take no offense. I just want it to come out right.

I think if you try the first row of the pattern you will see that it does work out. So if you total it, you will have 4 crossed stitch sections with 3 chain 6 sections between. My question is about the number of chain spaces.

The picture shows 3 ch-6 spaces but the chain 66 for the start chain gives you 4 ch-6 spaces. I am confused by the discrepancy. Which of the two is correct?
