Author research and perspective is mind broadening. Really enjoyed learning more about life during the time of Christ. The authors notes at the end of each chapter were very informative and helpful. I absolutely loved this series!! The book was well written, well researched, with notes at the end of each chapter. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to know more about this time period and The Lord Jesus Christ. This fictional series follows the life of characters during the days of christ.
Crown of Love, Vol. 4
I enjoyed this particular volume as it covers the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and details adding historical background to give it context. Wonderful book and read with feeling. This book is inspirational. The book brings the listener closer to our Savior Jesus the Christ.

Wonderfully written and beautifully performed! The character development through the books was truly amazing and very believable. One of his best in my opinion. He brought to life the characters of the scripture and made them real.

I recommend this series to all of my friends. Exactly what I was expecting!!
My review of book two reminds me of most "second" movies in a trilogy. Though I re-emphasize, that review was of the recording, not the writing. More than anything, though, she wants to be taken care of by someone more capable than her mother. Manipulative and emotionally unavailable, he has few scruples about anything if it will get what he wants. His full interest in Hisayoshi is unclear, though he carelessly engages in a sort of artful flirting when Hisayoshi calls him for help. It seems somewhat possible that he has.
Crown of Love, Vol. 4
Crown of Love is definitely worth a try. This may be the manga that makes me crazy about her writing. You said this is basically a redo of the original.

So is OK not to search out the original to understand this? I think the story has a real psychological bent that makes it intriguing as you say. A while back I picked up a bunch of used manga in a Japanese bookstore in Vancouver that was going out of business—they were a quarter each! OK it was ten years back, but I left them in a box at my parents and only tracked it down this past Summer.
