It was one of the first amazing Paleo recipes I ever tried and I instantly fell in love. I think I ate the entire batch in 2 or 3 days! I love making multiple batches of this bread, slice it and freeze it. Then you can take out individual pieces and pop in the toaster. Its delicious and much cheaper than the paleo bread you find in some stores or online.

    It never ceases to amaze me how taste and smell can transport you back to a specific time in your life. Whenever I have this, I immediately remember feeling the sun on my skin, the smell of the horses, and the love of my mother. The beautiful blend of crispy outside, fluffy inside, and dusting of cinnamon and sugar make this beloved treat shine in our eyes. I missed traditional risotto when I began a grain-free lifestyle and experimented with paleo versions made with cauliflower.

    But the texture lacked the richness and creaminess. Parsnips, I found, create a silky risotto texture without dairy. This five star recipe takes a variety of nutritious ingredients, incorporating their savory, sweet, and salty flavors into a true Paleo masterpiece! They are easy to make, delicious, portable, and pack a great nutritional punch. These can be eaten for a pre- or post-workout snack or even for breakfast! You can make them without the dates and chocolate for a less sweet version, or include one or both for a treat that can head off the worst sugar cravings!

    And unlike many other paleo bars, these are nut free. It is made from a slow cooked beef roast or flank steak that is shredded and marinated overnight in a garlic lime mixture, then pan-fried until crispy with onions.     I know this is an older post but I just wanted to mention the George Forman grill. Pop them in a baggie and toss in the fridge or freezer. Also if you slow cook try the liners, you can find them in the aisle with foil and baggies. You just pull out the liner and toss it, instant clean cooker.
