This is such a great story I fell for Bahir from the start I could feel the underlying feelings coming from him and such a beautiful setting in the desert and a Bedouin Tent and when he and Marina go to that special place and he opens up to her I had tears in my eyes I loved this story so sensual moving and beautiful I highly recommend it.
I must say that I was not impressed. I have read many harlequin presents books and many by Trish Morey but this one, all I can say is lack-luster. Normally I get the sample and read it and if I want to continue reading, then I purchase it. But, since I like Trish Morey's books and the previous reviews were good, I just bought it. Not a good idea. The book starts off slow about a few year feud between Marina and Bahir, the couple in question. By the time you are at chapter three, you still don't know what went down except that they are still barely speaking to each other.
All you're reading is what they are thinking in their head. One of which is Marina needing to tell Bahir that she had his child years back. At this point it had taken me an hour to read because I just didn't care for what was on the next page. Mass Market Paperback Verified Purchase.

I love this author and have purchased all of her books. The writing style is wonderful and the book is a great one to curl up with and read! The characters are well-defined and the plot is easy to follow. I liked this one and looking forward to reading more books by this author. I liked that the Sheikh was flawed and in the end humble yet proud I started and finished it all in the same day as I couldn't put it down. There are some interesting scenarios in this book. I really liked the heroine, Marina.
I liked the quiet dignity that she maintained pretty much throughout the story. The hero, Bahir, has been suffering from a particular kind of guilt his entire life and is afraid to love. Both characters are complex and the story very interesting, everything is not what it seems to be.
