For delicacy of perception and essential truth I hardly know any story of animals that can stand beside this life-story of a forest deer. Cover is green cloth with gilt title lettering on spine. Cover corners are bumped and rubbed, edges rubbed, soiling and stains white marks to covers, small holes to joints from wear, spine ends are bent with some fraying.
Publisher blind stamp on back cover. Top page edge is scuffed and dirty. Small bookstore sticker on bottom of front free endpaper. Loose hinges and interior spine. Interior pages have some minor foxing spots, some browning to edges, text crisp and easily legible. A picture of Bambi in gilt is imprinted in an embossed box on front board.

It served as the basis for the Disney movie, which was heavily modified from the original novel.
