Excellent read — helped me escape from reality into a world of adventure, mystery and intrigue. The prologue has me anxiously awaiting a new release. By Ms Larkspur —. This book certainly was worth waiting for! I loved the heroine—what a strong character. But I think my favorite aspect is Ms. I journeyed with the characters in this story, and I existed within their skin, felt their pain, the rhythm of the drums, the fear, the yearning. Kirkland is no ordinary writer but a born storyteller.

This was not the first time I read this book, nor will it be the last. Kudos to the author!

Enjoy all of you who read it. What a great love story. Just when I thought I knew what was gong to happen the author threw a new twist to the story. I know little of the Salem witch-hunts. This was exciting, mysterious and kept me engaged. I recommend this book to all.

This was a very intense novel. I found it very hard to put down at times. I really liked the ending. This was a interesting read: I recommend this book; it is a great escape into the past. Great intriguing with mystery, great romance and horror at what greed would lead good people to do. In this story all ended well if only in reality we would only see good in others.

A wonderful story full of vibrancy, passion and great characters, the plot was great and I really enjoyed reading it. I recommend this book to anyone that loves suspense with a few dashes of intrigue.
