Hopefully, changes will be made to make this book a better read. One person found this helpful. Was an interesting story. It was mostly engaging. There were some points that dragged on but that's with most stories. Very much liked the ending. I am hesitant how to rate this novel. I gave it 3 stars, but it could have been more.
One star is down from my rating due to issues of formatting, spelling and punctuation.
They don't usually bother me, as long as they don't distract me from the content. In this case the spelling and punctuation mistakes were not a big deal, but sometimes there was no separation between paragraphs with different scenes. On some occasions it would happen in a dialogue - there are some people talking, then you read on and you realize that now you read a different dialogue with different characters, but this was not indicated in any way.
A paragraph break would be enough.

At the time of writing the review, the Kindle edition I have has been removed from Amazon. Maybe things have been fixed in the new one. As for the content itself, the cover and the description do a good job of conveying the general mood of the story.
The novel is set in England. We know that the protagonist's life messed up somehow and it's basically his story of how he got there. We don't understand why and how until the end - for the largest part of the book it is a story of a successful young man, though the feeling that something will eventually go wrong is there from the beginning.
In the meantime there are ruminations about relationships, career, night life - with many of which I found myself in agreement with the author.

Probably the biggest drawback of the novel is that it is slow. Apart from that, some readers will be put off by its gloomy and depressing atmosphere, though I personally think that this is a matter of taste. It certainly won't appeal to everybody, but it has its good moments and I recommend it. Provided that you are in the appropriate mood, probably you will appreciate it. Not enough drama, but interesting.
