The hours were great as we would get nice long teaching blocks. Hardest part of the job was that we had to teach twelve clients of various levels in the same class but overall it wasn't bad.

Great Place to Work. The front desk position at Club Pilates is very laid back, it might be because the studio in Doral recently opened a few months ago and things are still slow. However the environment is very friendly. If you like working alone, it's perfect as you usually only see the Manager during the day but if you close, you're usually on your own. It requires a lot of customer service, dealing with customers who wish to break the contract and not pay the fee.

You are responsible for maintaining the studio clean which means sweeping, mopping, dusting, taking out the trash, picking up the studio after the instructors. But overall there's a lot of free time.

Starting Pilates! Features Interview with Elaine Ewing

I like being around positive people in a health centered lifestyle. The members are amazing as well as the instructors. A typical day is staying at the front desk from the start of your shift to pretty much the end You will be a glorified cleaner when classes are not in session in the afternoons. Great Job for high schoolers that have hw to do in the evenings. Great learning experience, many hours. I've enjoyed teaching here so much because i've been pretty much been left to my own devices. I haven't received any support from other instructors, management or owners, however for the most part I feel like my teaching style is accepted and respected.

I am given so many hours which is great however there has been no advancement in the company even though that was the main draw for me for accepting the position. I was told there would be advancement and pay raise opportunities but so far none It would be a great company to work for with the right mix between ownership, management and staff.

If it's not a good mix and everyone is out for themselves it gets a little rough on those employees that do have more of a team player attitude. My experience working with Club Pilates started off great. The hours were perfect , pay was great but than I was fired due to reasons that didnt have to do with my drive , or me not doing my job to its fullest. I feel like my experience changed after no longer working for Club Pilates, I feel like the whole talk of it being a great place to excel and be promoted changed.

I feel like the experience of my store gave me the impression of Club Pilates not being the place they described once given the summary of the job description. I love my studio! I cant speak for everyone because it is a corporate franchise, but my owners are definitely some of the best people I've had the opportunity to work for.

The biggest benefit of working for Club Pilates was the opportunity to relocate to a different studio.. I also enjoyed the teachers I trained with..
