The wait was that I needed to take care of my mother before she died. During those three years I just waited. The two words you mentioned, Be still, are some of the most powerful two words that we can use throughout the day whenever we are anxious or moving too fast. Those words speak to our minds and to our hearts.

I often find it difficult to find the words I need to express myself but while I was pondering on one of your past Enzines, He showed me that in fact, often it is only a few words that is best to convey a truth.

So, we show our respect and admiration to God with our attention. We share our love being present with one another. God is God, the Creator of all things. Hi Masha, Thanks for commenting. Dreams are very powerful. I recently had a weird dream and I woke up with the song: Hi John, I totally relate on calming the mind. This verse is a warning to the rebellious nations. This is the worst catastrophic event that we can imagine. God is coming to judge. God will be present in wrath for eternity to all of those who have rejected him and have never bowed the knee to his Son.
But the good news is that this same God who is coming as Judge is also the God who right now holds out mercy and forgiveness to all who believe in his Son. Psalm 46 as a whole is ultimately about the safe refuge that God's people have by placing their hope and trust in him. To all of you who have embraced Jesus Christ by faith, God has become your mighty fortress and safe refuge from destruction on the last day!
