Each book gives you a part of the story but not the whole tale. Reading them out of order will likely leave you with a lot of holes that aren't filled. This is a fun set of episodes that tell the tale of a girl meeting a great guy, then another and building relationships. Mistakes are made, apologised for and forgiven and lesson learned. The only thing that was irritating in this novella is how Laura is so quick to think the worst that she isn't thinking logically and not hearing her men out.
