So far marie higgins is ALOT like marcia lynn mcclure! Ill keep reading her books! Mar 13, Teya Peck rated it it was amazing.
It had simpering sweet and clean sexy moments. Fun happy and explosive moments of emotion I won't tell of which kind of course. Very intrigueing, fun, my favorite word clean. I love that even in the colonial times or any "time" period she writes I can read it with out covering my eyes or embarrased by what I read because it's clean!
I just love Marie Higgins writing. She has become one of my favorite authors and I don't have many favorites. I recommend it and can't I loved it! I recommend it and can't wait to read The sweetest love and the sweetest secret both by her I just haven't found them yet. Jun 13, Valerie rated it really liked it. Higgins another try after her recommendation that I read a book that was not published by Walnut Springs publishing. Soooooooo much better written and overall well put together.
I wasn't left frustrated or confused by missing stuff that was taken out of her other book. I actually read it all in a day as this was a short read. I will for sure read her others that are her own work, without the publishers suggestions of taking out content. I will add a list of her books that are self pu I gave Mrs.
I will add a list of her books that are self published to my comment as soon as I find it. Stay away from those not listed in here as the publisher did a poor job, much to her detriment of loosing readers. Sep 23, Anna del C. Dye rated it it was amazing. This is the sweetest book I have ever read. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale and the journey it took me through. Marie did a great job with this sweet regency romance. The characters are lovable and very real for the era the story portrays.
Louisa Hamilton is a pickpocket; she has to be or be bitten by the man who owns her. He just brought her back to a place that brings shadows to her mind. She is on the verge of finding who this shado This is the sweetest book I have ever read. She is on the verge of finding who this shadows occults when she is run over by Trevor Worthington, Fourth Duke of Kenbridge. Feeling guilty, he takes her home and nurses her to health. Pretty soon it is obvious that he is bound to lose either his pocket watch or his heart. May 14, Sally Hannoush rated it it was amazing. There were many ups and downs throughout the book that kept the story engaging.
I found a lot of the book quite funny as well as sweet. I enjoyed how clues were slowly put together as we went along and in the end everyone ended up where they needed to be. We also had a sneak peak of the Duke and how he interacted with his brothers and best friend. This was the first book I read in the series even tho it is out of order. I will certainly read the rest of them. Apr 25, Wendy Tavenner rated it it was amazing. Marie Higgins does it again. I did find his hesitation to give his heart to Judith understandable at first but after awhile I wanted to scream, "Get over yourself already!
My favorite character however was Trey's best friend, Nic. I am so hoping he has his own story coming out Although "The Sweetest Kiss" is classified as a clean romance, it is very sensual at times. However, this does not dissuade from the reading of the novel at all. In fact, it only adds to the level of feeling that Judith and Trey feel for one another. It's sensual yet very tasteful. Well, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the tention in this book. I loved the characters and was rooting for them all the way. I really think the author did a good job about skimming the "grey area" a clean. However, that why it's not totally five stars. It was just skimming a little too much.
Don't get me wrong, it was so romantic and sweet I just think it could of gone down just a little and been just as good. My other cr 4. My other critique is the fact that I don't love that she has to confince Trey that he is in love with her. Not my favorite part of any book. I loved the fact that she was a strong women that knew what she wanted. Still I can't imagine myself chasing a guy and trying to confince him that he is clearly in love with me.
I wish that part was a little different. Maybe have her let him go and if he figures it out great, and if not I guess that's his loss. I will say however, that I enjoyed this book. I had a very hard time putting it down and I was grateful for the stomach flu because I had some time to commit to it. Dec 10, Anna del C.
Dye rated it it was amazing. Now she has to go live with the Dowager Duchess of Kenbridge and her horrible son. She remembers well the times she spent there while growing up and how Lord Trey tortured her with his harmful pranks. She loathes him and now she was to travel with him to her new prison. At the same time, he promised his mother that he would help. He is a bachelor and has no plans to change that status; after all, his father admonished him to never get married.
Now that he has seen Judith and stolen a kiss from her, he finds himself questioning his upbringing. This is a clean book with a story that flows well. I recommend it to any Regency or romance readers. The plot was not that original, but it was still a fun read. Judith and Trey have known each other since childhood. When her parents die she is sent to live with Trey and his mother. The story became more of him denying his feelings and her trying to win his love.
I got a little tired of both of them denying their feelings. I also hate it when the girl has to win the guy over 3. I also hate it when the girl has to win the guy over. I want to see him win her over, prove himself. And why would Trey hint that they had been sleeping together! I thought that was really low.
The Sweetest Kiss (Brothers of Worthington, #1) by Marie Higgins
A true gentleman would have done anything to protect her reputation, not tarnish it. Alex as a villain was poorly executed. Considering she had a lot of doubts about his fidelity I found it odd she was so easy around him. Overall, I did like it and look forward to finishing the series. Clean, passionate kissing Language: None that I remember Nov 16, Channa rated it it was amazing. I barely ever write reviews but I had too for this one.
It has been a while since I read a good book until I came a cross this. I didn't like the cover so much on amazon but I thought what the heck it's free. I ended up truly enjoying this book. From beginning to end it had my full attention. I actually read this in one day.
Marie Higgins
The love story was so sweet and I loved both Judith and Trey. I rooted for them all the way. When they say never judge a book by it's cover they really mean it. I am glad I I barely ever write reviews but I had too for this one. I am glad I read this. If you want to laugh, cry and be swept away in love, then this is the book for you.

What is Kobo Super Points?
The ending was wwwaaaayyyyy too rushed. I would've liked to read about the wedding and the days leading up to it. However, I still give it 5 stars because this was a book I did not want to put down. I read it any chance I got. Sweet, clean, but lots of steamy kisses: Dec 29, Julie rated it liked it.
