This is a unique romance, and I was thoroughly charmed. Two interesting, wonderful people find each other. Really good love scenes, too moderate steaminess. I highly recommend this one! Beneath the Starry Sky is hot. If it doesn't make you break into a sweat I don't know what will, but more than that, it's sweet, romantic and very touching.

I thought Beneath the Starry Sky was a wonderful story of love, hope and the ability to possibly start over again. I highly recommend Beneath the Starry Sky. Beneath the Starry Sky is a sweet, sexy and heartwarming story that takes the idea of one night stands to a deeper level--an emotional, soul searching, non-superficial level. The characters are well developed, unpredictable and face realistic challenges that many will relate to.
Jessica Subject's storytelling skill at intertwining all the elements that goes into writing a longer novel and having them fit and work in a novella, is what will draw you in and have you root for Tamara and Joshua. Beneath the Starry Sky is a wonderful addition to the One Night Stand series, and I look forward to future installments. This story hits on a topic many people can identify with. Subject takes on this issue fearlessly as she explores what a 1NS would be between two people that had lost much but had the world to gain.
If they let go and open up to the possibilities looking them right in the face, they may just both get what their heart's desire. The narration for this book was fun.

Hot, sexy, and fun! From the start, Jessica E. I loved the way these two damaged people, Tamara and Josh, were brought together for what was supposed to be one night of guilt-free pleasure and ended up finding the acceptance they were both looking for. The characters were well-rounded with all the little faults and foibles of people we all know. By the time they met, I was already rooting for them to find each other.
The love scenes were very hot. T Hot, sexy, and fun! They were also poignant, fun and funny. It was a quick read and I was sorry to reach the last page. I would love to know what happened between these two after the sun came up. Our leads are almost combustible together. They both have there share of scars and don't feel right in their own skin.

When they find out they both have things to hide, it brings them closer together quicker. I won't lie, I cried a little because I thought it was just beautiful. They accept each other and they don't treat the other like a freak or a monster. This was so beautifully written. And as I said, not sci-fi, but I loved the final scene when they went to Josh's favorite.
You definitely see and feel the magic. This was only 28 pages long, but it was touching and profound. So if you want a sweet amd very sexy short read, add this to your collection right now. Beneath the Starry Sky was a short sexy read, filled with a story storyline that will pull at your heart strings and make you wander. But what Josh and Tamara both discover is underneath there hurt and suffereing is alot of love to give. Beneath The Starry Sky is a wonderful heartfelt story of love, and moving on. Be whom you truly are. Beauty is more than skin deep and after a night of hot passion and lust , Josh wanders if Tarmara is that ray of sunshine he has been waiting for. When he is with her he can forget the pain and just feel. Tamara also feels the same. Jessica has put forth the emotions well in this story.
A storyline that has not only a meaning behind it but also hope for a happily ever after. The characters were wonderfully crafted and well put forth. Id like to have seen more ya know - all us romantics at heart always want more - but being only a short erotic read. I didnt feel that Jessica had missed anything out. I rated this book on the storyline - it was a little short for me but the underlying concept of the storyline is what sucked me in!

I loved this story because both Tamara and Josh are imperfect characters who fear that they won't be able to find someone who will love them despite their imperfections. Tamara suffers from Alopecia and has lost her hair. When she's dumped by her fiance for being bald, she's pretty much given up on finding love.
Thus her decision to have a 1 night stand. And Josh, a model turned actor, had an accident which left him scarred. I could really relate to their fears So it wa I loved this story because both Tamara and Josh are imperfect characters who fear that they won't be able to find someone who will love them despite their imperfections. So it was nice to see the two of them work through their fears, their issues and fight for a love they both deserve. I couldn't help but cry when Josh first saw Tamara without her wig on.
It was a really emotional moment for Tamara.

Both the hero and the heroine have suffered physical ailments that influence their belief that they can ever find someone to love them for the way they are. In this short novella, we see Josh and Tamara experience each other and learn to accept a happily-ever-after.
I enjoyed Jessica's story, although I wish it had been longer. I liked seeing Josh and Tamara deal with their own insecurities and learn to value themselves and each other. If you get a chance, definitely pick up this story! Jan 06, April rated it really liked it Shelves:
