Thank you so much! Jul 09, thebookishblog rated it really liked it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were many ups and downs in the story creating an emotional rollercoaster of distress, joy and relief.

As far as a contemporary young adult romance novels go, Forever Kinda Love is very well developed, beautifully written and thought provoking. I do feel that the ending was very abruptly concluded, but that is just a minor fault and I really liked the book nonetheless. If you think you would enjoy an upbeat romance about two childhood friends that mean everyth I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If you think you would enjoy an upbeat romance about two childhood friends that mean everything to each other falling in love, you will love this book.

It is sweet and utterly heartwarming. As the book nears to an end you will be inexplicably rooting for Heath and Ace as they struggle to be honest with each other — and themselves, about their feelings for one another.

See a Problem?

The second book in the series titled Flirting with Love was published on the March 4th and follows the lives of two characters previously introduced in Forever Kinda Love. She is taken to the ER after a cheerleading accident. Heath's brother is a doctor. He looks over the test results and finds something the ER doctor has missed. Ace and Heath are finally ready to admit their have a forever kind of love when the dreaded cancer appears. I enjoyed this book. I would have liked more information on what kind of cancer Ace has and if she is in total remission. The book has been edited and is an easy read. Jun 19, Eye in Bookland rated it liked it.

Heath and Ace Carrigan have been best friends forever-then finally turn into lovers. They are scared "rabbits", as he would call her. I really enjoyed this romance because you can be friends first than lovers-"just take a chance". For once throw away all logic, close your eyes and let your heart lead you. He keeps telling her that She is his Life! I loved this story. Jun 13, Deanna rated it it was amazing. When your 8 years old you never figured you will find your best friend in a hospital the day that tragedy struck her life.

For Ace and Heath that is what happens fate brought them together and from that point on they were best friends, but when Heath released that his feelings for Ace are more then just as friends that when his life gets a litter more tricky. This is an amazing story of how fate will bring two people together and give them a hell of a ride. Jun 12, Kim rated it really liked it. I received this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing an honest review. This is more for teens but I found it a sweet enjoyable read.

Jul 26, Rachel R. My Book Empire rated it really liked it. For once, throw away all logic, close your eyes, and let your heart lead you. I have to admit, there was too much going on though, between the two of them and also with their respective families and partners that sometimes it was hard to take it all in.

But the good thing about that is we were able to see the character development and growth with both Ace and Heath. I think that Heath is not only a wonderful bestfriend, but also an amazing boyfriend. There were little clues since the beginning of the novel and maybe those helped me to associate them as the more than just bestfriends type.

And that bomb that Stone dropped on us was really hard to deal with, even as a reader. Clara Stone, can you give me my own Heath, please? I was actually surprised by how it all turned out in the end, and on how I felt about it. And that dual POV? I loved that I was able to hear from both of these characters and got to know them more. I know I did. Aug 15, Kisa Whipkey rated it it was amazing Shelves: Forever Kinda Love is a special breed of romance. Having married my best friend, I can attest to the fact that this type of love resonates deeply. And Clara Stone has captured it perfectly.

Huddled in a hospital waiting area, the last thing she expects to find is a friendship that will last. Heath has kept his silent promise to watch over the little girl who lost her mom, keeping her carefully shielded from his player status and parade of non-relationships. When Ace meets the mysterious Vincent, though, Heath starts to realize that his feelings for her go far beyond his promise to protect her. We know they belong together, and we know how they both feel, but the back-and-forth dance as the characters discover those truths is simultaneously frustrating and completely honest.

I read this in draft form, and I can honestly say that even in its roughest phase, Ms. Stone was able to bring me to tears several times. It contains heavy swearing and steamy make-out sessions that will leave adults looking for a cold shower. Feb 20, Laura Thomas rated it really liked it.

You are gonna love Heath and Ace. Her mother had died and he reached out to a little girl, looking so lost and alone. Now, ten years later and almost out of school, they are still best friends. But something is changing. They are becoming aware of each other in a different way. Do they dare to risk their friendship?

Do you remember your first love? What are they doing right now? Are they thinking of me too? Do they love me as much as I love them? Heath has been there for Ace through thick and thin, always thinking of her first, doing everything he can to make sure she is safe and happy. He melted my heart.

His love for Ace was incredible and without question. Ace knew Heath would always have her back, always be there when she needed him. Finally admit her feelings and let love flow. These two always told each other everything. There were no secrets between them, until now.

Until how they felt for each other changed. And when Ace gets some disturbing news, I feared for these two young lovers. If ever two people were meant to be together, it was Heath and Ace. Like the author could hear me and give me the ending I wanted, I demanded. As much as I wanted to know what would happen, I was almost afraid to find out.

You see it in the movies. You read about it in books. You hear rumors that it exists. You might even have found it or know someone who did. I received this book for my honest review. Oct 11, June rated it really liked it Shelves: I received this free in exchange for a honest review. Initially this was set to be an okay read for me I was ready to comment on the engaging writing and to pick out Ace as the spotlight. She raised herself after the death of her mother as her father was so busy grieving. She is the cheerlea I received this free in exchange for a honest review.

She is the cheerleader who befriends everyone. She holds her own against Heath, aka Iceman. I loved she remained true to her standards. For me, I wished she chose Vincent instead but alas the heart wants the heart wants. I will forgo my rant on Heath. I don't think the end redeems him, but I may be harsh. I was glad that this was no insta-love and that Ace and Heath Iceman were friends before. So often, the romance becomes sweet and sappy but here Ms. She introduced a twist, expected, given the build-up and my scientific background, which I think allowed Ace and Heath to grow. And for this redeemed the book for me.

I actually want to learn more about the secondary characters who were relatively well fleshed out. Their stories are begging to be told. I would read the rest of this series if this were the case. Nov 19, Leah rated it it was amazing. I loved Heath and Ace. I know it was a long time ago, but I remember being afraid of losing my best friend if I admitted that I was in love with him So I could really identify with Heath and Ace. True, we didn't have to endure any of the curve balls that were thrown at these two lovable characters, but the uncertainty of taking things further and the fear of losing what you already have, was totally real and believable.

Heath and Carrigan Ace have been best friends since they were children. They know everything about each other and connect on a very deep and profound level, after having been brought together under very stressful circumstances.

They have always been there for each other, supporting one another through the good times and the bad times. It is so easy to love them and the easy way they handle each other. So many great lines that you would only say to someone who was truly your very best friend. Of course, once you become teenagers and have all these crazy hormones and mixed feelings for your bestie, things can become a little complicated. Some times you need to take a leap of faith though, and see where things lead you.

I loved Ace as the heroine! She's a strong, sweet, smart, and kind, good girl. She's just sweet and I know I've already said that, but she really is sweet and light and pure, but she a Ms. She's just sweet and I know I've already said that, but she really is sweet and light and pure, but she also has a feisty, sassy side to her too. Ace isn't perfect and she has her moments, but she is a brave heroine and she will make you proud.

Some reunions aren't meant to be happy. Aidan reluctantly brings Dre into the investigation as they search for answers to who the arsonist is - and why he's targeted Sarah. As the story develops, neither Aidan or Dre can fight the attraction they feel towards each other, but they are at odds when it comes to how they see their relationship and a future together.

The story is wonderfully written and plotted, and it keeps you guessing as to whodunit. Aug 23, Rosanna Leo rated it it was amazing. KS Anderson has written a lovely story about desire burning strong. This romance has family dynamics to break your heart, a dishy fire inspector who wants more than a fling, and a strong woman who isn't sure what she wants Or at least, she knows she isn't cut out to be a mom and wife. Questions arise once she meets Aidan kelly.

However, there is more to be concerned about. Dre's estranged mom has been involved in several fires. Can Dre and Aidan help find the culprit? Can they protect Dre's foul-mouthed mom from more foul play? And can the two women repair a damaged relationship? The romance is sweet and hot at the same time, and left me with a smile on my face. I can't wait for future books from this author. Karen Anderson rated it it was amazing Aug 22, The final track on the album, its success a mark of how heavy-handed the rest of the album sounds next to it.

It was an ominous foreshadow of the type of material James Hetfield would explore in deeper, more ghastly detail on the albums to come. Ultimately, instead of being the radically different masterpiece Lars had envisaged, Justice was a sideways step at best — a miscalculation. At worst, it was a disfiguringly weird statement the band would all largely disown as time went by and better albums were made.

Its only real saving grace, the extraordinary One — and the fact it united them in never wanting to make an album so bleak in its outlook or dire in its musical palate again. The days of Metallica the out-and-out heavy metal monster were now numbered. The other mystifyingly weird thing about Justice was the production. In the early days we all prided ourselves on how fast we played. Then there came a point where we prided ourselves on how complicated we could be. Musical intellectual pride or some bullshit, you know? I basically blocked it out, like people do with shit.

We were firing on all cylinders, and shit was happening. I was just rolling with it and going forward. What was I gonna do, say we gotta go remix it? Working alone with assistant engineer Toby Wright, he had used the same bass set-up as he would for a gig. Just played it and that was that, right?

Mike Clink says the lack of bass was an issue even when he was working with them. But that was their concept and I think that if Cliff had been there it might have been a bit different. I think he was just happy to be there, at that moment. It takes up a lot of room in the sonic spectrum. But ultimately that was the decision of the band and the mixer.

Rasmussen makes the same point about the mix. Like Clink, however, Flemming was not responsible for the mix. Asked how it differed from Master , Hetfield said: We really went out of our way to make sure that what we put on the tape was what we wanted, so the mixing procedure would be as easy as possible. Whatever the truth, by the time mixing had begun in Woodstock, Metallica were already back out on the road, on the US version of the Monsters Of Rock festival: I travelled with the band for the opening two dates of the tour in Florida, at the Miami Orangebowl and the Tampa Stadium.

You could see what he meant. With just a minute set to perform, the band also had an unusual amount of free time to fill. And because he liked being out of his head, sitting there stoned gazing at horror movies, some on TV, some just playing out in front of him in real time in his hotel room. He was also into the vodka, though his brand had improved: Then it would get ugly where the world is fucked and fuck you.
