Greetings from Boot Camp. We are slowly getting stronger, fitter, faster, but it hasn't been easy. The regime is going well and we are dumping some tonnage. Had one of my best meals ever last night. Matthew picked up a roadkill pheasant during our morning mile yomp and worked on presenting sliced breast with a superb jus reduction, and elements of chili and ginger.
Better than restaurant quality and certainly the best game dish I have ever had. Real food for the gladiators.
Last year, Matthew found an interesting bush in his garden, and decided it would make a good lentil style broth. Luckily we googled it first. It was Hemlock, and we would have all been dead. This is not the experience we normally hear and I sincerely apologise this should not have the case during your stay. We do hope you will give us the chance on your return visit to Cheltenham to show you this is the case. Stayed here four times now. Had a few minor issues which were dealt with very professionally by the Front of House Manager.
Deluxe rooms come with a complimentary soft drink mini bar and coffee machine and a great bathroom. Dear bigbloke, It is great to have repeat clients like yourself with us many times. The hotel is not only located in beautiful Regency Cheltenham but is located centrally for trips to small Cotswolds villages and day trips to Bath, Bristol, Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon to use as a base. We look forward to seeing you again very soon. Nice hotel, good location for all shopping and restaurant amenities.
Hotel itself was clean and tidy and the staff were all very attentive. Upon our arrival the hotel was setting up an event for a birthday and there was a live band in the ballroom completing sound checks I asked the desk when the party would start and finish and could we be put on the opposite side of the hotel from the party.

I'm not sure the check in clerk was listening, completed our check in and gave us keys which we discovered were for a room 3 floors above the ballroom! We went back downstairs and approached another clerk and said room was not acceptable due to the noise coming form the ballroom. Not an issue moved us across the hotel and when we came back from our evening though the party was going full swing we didn't hear anything in our room at all. Excellent blackout curtains meant we had a very restful nights sleep.

My apologies the first room you were allocated following your concern about the band in the ballroom was not appropriately actioned. I am pleased my team found a suitable solution for you and you enjoyed your stay with us and the room was lovely and quiet. The blackout curtains are fabulous for a sleep in or lazy morning with checkout at midday and you can even breakfast in bed via 24 hour room service. Followed by our Sunday Roast in the garden or Orangery on a beautiful summers day should you wish.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel soon. Room was good, breakfast food Ok. Personel in the restaurant were not coordinated. They appeal very uneffiecient. The Group had 2 dinners and the service was not very sufficient. Need to improve to the be at the standard of the hotel. The food Ok but not something special. The sound in the dining room was terrible it was impossible to communicate at the table.
I have tried to Contact the hotel twice via their Contact site to book a stay at the hotel together with a Morgan activity the promote but they do not answer mails. We have 2 sections of the restaurant to choose from as well as the Lounge area or garden weather permitting which we serve all of our menus in. Please do contact us on your next visit and we will find a suitable space for you in advance. I apologise no one had got back to you could you please advise which website exactly you were contacting us through as we did not receive anything.

We would love to have you staying with us again in the future and look forward to welcoming you back. This is a local four-star hotel and the good looking exterior was attractive enough. The car parking space was relatively expensive at around 15 pounds per night for residents.

We were assigned to two adjacent rooms on the top floor, the room type as a deluxe two-person room with a king-sized bed, a small living area, a flat screen TV, a small bathroom with bathtub included. Facilities were well-equipped and each room has a good size of around 36 square meters, making this equal to 72 square meters in total if two rooms were added together. Service was good in this hotel. Staff welcomed our arrival and allocated us to our rooms after our check-in was finished. Prior to our arrival, we also asked them to reserve the Flynns Restaurant Cheltenham for us and they did this in less than 12 hours' time, indicating their proactive service towards their loyal customers in this hotel.
The car parking space was also arranged accordingly after we notified staff via email prior to our arrival. Ambience was still good and the hotel itself is pretty, with lots of gardens surrounding it. It's just a shame that the shops all close on Sunday as we did not have much opportunity to purchase souvenirs or clothing at local shops near the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was a mixed, the English breakfast could be improved as some food was a little bit overcooked and quite salty, with portions being too much. The other breakfast with scrambled egg and cod fish was good and enjoyable. Service and ambience in the restaurant was great overall. With great service, good ambience and a restful stay, it made our stay at the Queens Hotel even enjoyable before heading off to Cambridge.

We are very proud of our garden and also stunning Imperial Gardens which are opposite the hotel, did you know they plan 25, flowers and plants every year and majority of the festivals in Cheltenham are in this park or Montpellier gardens behind us. Should you wish to explore more of the UK you can use Cheltenham as a base to discover Oxford, Bath, Stratford upon Avon and many Cotswold villages surrounding us.
